Based at Oxspring Bank Police Station, this Safer Neighbourhood Team is led by Insp Steve Mouzer. The team consists of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Special Constables, a Children and Young Persons Officer, and a Safer Neighbourhoods Officer. We also have a dedicated CID team. My teams - in conjunction with other partner agencies, are here to serve the needs of the local community. Putting community issues, needs & priorities at the heart of everything we do.
For us this means listening to what our communities are telling us and tailoring our response appropriately.

The SNTs are ready to respond to a wide variety of incidents, as well as dealing with the issues that affect people's day-to-day lives, such as criminal damage & nuisance behaviour. The teams work with the communities they serve, pinpointing problems & trying to find long-term solutions
We aim to reduce local crime, bring more offenders to justice, & address quality of life issues through a problem-solving approach with communities.
