what issues concerned you most in your area
during the pact meeting held on wednesday 30th march 2011, the community raised concerns over the recent problems in wombwell park, with youth nuisance and criminal damage. the park pavilion had been attacked and damage caused to the buildings exterior. there had also been damage caused to a number of recently planted shrubs and a bin had been pushed over.
access to the park from cross street, off hough lane, wombwell. key areas are the skate park, football court and pavillion
incidents were committed during the evening. although key times for patrol should be during the evening between 17.00 - 22.00 hours throughout the week but mainly at weekends.
foot patrols increased in the park from 23rd March 2011
