what issues concerned you most in your area

You said: 

at the most recent pact meeting held on wednesday 25th May 2011, the representatives of the wombwell & darfield community raised concerns with regards to problems at the area known as the Park Hill Brick Ponds, formerly the Park Hill Brick Works. This area has been regenerated over the last 20 years or so and is now part of the Wetland Nature Reserve. The Park Hill site still has the remains of the Brick Kilns, which over look the nature reserve. These kilns are now under attack by vandals (picture attached). A wall had been damage and the kilns entered. Concern was raised for the preservation of the site and the daangers to young people who are using the site as a play ground.

the damage to the kilns has occured during the evenings, during weekends.

We did: 

the bmbc parks department is currently attempting to make repairs to the damaged area to prevent access to the kilns

the snt has patrolled the area during the evenings

the parents of 4 youths have been sent letters, following an incident where they were found playing in the damaged area
