Young people are using the Crags area to drink and are then leaving litter and generally damaging the environment in this ecologically important area
Afternoons and Evenings
We Will:
1) Regularly patrol the Crags area to discourage innapropriate use and to deal with underage drinking.
2) Conduct test purchase operations at local off licences.
3) Work with young people and community groups to keep the area clean.

BBQ/disco took place at Coronation Park as a diversionary activity for youths in the area. The evening was very successful and resulted in a large turn out.

28th July 2010 10:30hrs at Joint Services Centre. Meeting of Maltby Wood Lea Common and Crags Meadow Steering Group. Among items discussed the group felt that a Alcohol Exclusion Zone would benefit this area due to the volume of alcohol related incidents (both reported and unreported).
Also a visit to the site by pupils from Maltby Academy proved popular and plans are under way to repeat this with other Schools in the Maltby area.
