Nuisance youths congregating on the wooded area at the rear of Thickett Drive, Maltby. The youths are drinking underage, throwing litter into residential gardens, using foul and abusive language and making threats to residents. there have also been some issues with fires being set.
At the PACT meeting of 19/04/11 it was agreed that this area would be redefined to include Malwood / Littlewood and Holiwell as this small estate is experiencing all of the issues outlined above.
This is predominantly on Friday and Saturday evenings, from 18:00 hours.

At the Area Assembly / PACT meeting held on 19/04/11 it was agreed to redefine the areas of this priority. Contact has been made with the site manager at Maltby Colliery and a meeting agreed with staff from there to look at the location and ascertain if there is anything that can be achieved to reduce the issues by working in partnership. The Area Assembly are looking to action plan this area and support local groups, including the Neighbourhood Watch to look at funding and diversionary activities.
