Drug dealing, anti-social behaviour and street drinking in and around the Park area bordered by Harwood Close and Randall Place and outside the Lloyds Chemist on Alderson Road/London Road
Evening time into the early hours of the morning.
This area became a priority following increased reports from local residents and businesses in the area at the P.A.C.T. event held on 29/06/2011
>As of 24/02/12 a total of 198 hrs patrol time has been spent on this priority.
>Once again during patrols the area has been quiet with no reported incidents and our continued actions certainly appear to have had a positive effect.
>As this is a longstanding problem that has caused concern for residents and business owners over the years the team are currently looking at a longer term solution working in partnership with Sheffield City Council regarding an alcohol exclusion zone extension.
> To date 18 people have been stopped at this location. They have had their details taken and have been advised regarding the issues in the area and moved on.
>Residents and business premises in the surrounding area have been encouraged to report any issues promptly so officers can attend and deal with any offences accordingly.
