Meetings have been held with managers and staff from the children's home including the head of child care in Rotherham. Discussions concentrated on the problem of youths visiting the home and the impact this was having on local residents because of the anti social behaviour which resulted. An action plan to address these issues was agreed which included additional patrols, day to day support for the home from safer neighbourhood team officers and proactive engagement with local youths who were using the home as a meeting place. As a result, the incidents of anti social behaviour has been reduced significantly.
