AT THE PACT MEETING ON MONDAY 18TH OCTOBER 2010 AT THE THURCROFT CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP HALL THIS PRIORITY WAS RETAINED.

Whilst there does not appear to have been any further incidents reported to the police residents have found evidence of burnt newspapers having been placed under conifer trees in the general  locality. The priority has therefore been retained to allow the fire brigade to continue engagement and fire prevention opportunities, and to allow the Police to further research the problem and continue to provide extra patrols during the Guy Fawkes period.

Patrols have been made. I am not aware of any further incidents.

The PACT meeting for Monday 29th November 2010 was cancelled due to snow. It is not known at this time if the meeting will be rearranged. If not the next PACT meeting is scheduled for 10 am Monday 20th December 2010 at Aston Service Centre.

At the Co Ordinating meeting on Tuesday 7th December 2010 this priority was discharged.  No further reports form fire brigade or local councillors.
