In reality this may be difficult to resolve. The Safer Neighbourhood Teams cannot enforce speeding legislation. Only staff from the Road Policing Group have the necessary equipment and training to do this task. We will approach them on behalf of the residents but they have a strict set of criteria as to where they can carry out enforcement. This is not only linked to number of complaints but also number of accidents/serious injuries.
Feedback will be given on this site and at the next meeting on the result of the approach to Road Policing Group.
