PCSO's have provided high profile patrols in this area this evening these streets were checked and there were no signs of street drinking or nuisance motorbikes up until 10 pm.

The community centre has been an area where young people are congregating and there have been a number of reports of this as the centre has been subject to criminal damage. The PCSO's have been patrolling this evening to reduce the criminal activity within this area.

The Mexborough PACT was held this evening and it was decided that this priority would remain for the next month there was a very good turn out and the members of the public who attended the meeting stated that they wanted this priority to stay in force for the next month.

The issue of nuisance motorbikes seems to have stopped and there have been no recent reports. Local SNT officers have been patrolling the area this evening for youths drinking in the street although no youths were found some empty alcohol cans were found. There has also been a letter drop carried out by the Local SNT , housing and the council to provide the relevant contact numbers so the SNT can help reduce ASB in your area.

The police quad has been patrolling in the local area for any pit bikes but there has been no bikes spotted in this part of Mexborough. A report did come in of a bike riding from Old Denaby into Mexborough and the red pit bike was stopped and subsequently seized.

Mexborough SNT have continued patrols of the Mexborough area throughout December and the New Year. A couple of reports were received regarding nusiance motorbikes where the SNT attended, but upon investigation and a search of the area no bikes were seen or found. Patrols will continue.

On Monday 16th January PCSO's Flavell and Eley responded to a 999 call on Hampden Rd, Mexborough. Reports came in of 2 males breaking into the rear of a property. As the officers arrived, the males were seen to be leaving via the french doors with bags of stolen property and electrical goods. Whilst 1 of the males made good his escape, the officers detained the other male. Other stolen items were recovered in an alley way close to the said property

Local SNT officers have worked evening shifts throughout the week. All Pact priorities have been patrolled regularly each evening, no issues raised.
The SNT has received several reports of nuisance motorbikes recently. A dedicated motorbike operation has been arranged within the next 2 weeks.
In the early hours of this moring,local Snt officers detained a male on Pym road at Mexborough.The male had previously made his good his escape from other officers.He was detained for driving whilst over the prescribed limit and for no insurance held on his vehicle.

The Neighbourhood Response Team were called to an address on Derwent Road regarding nuisance youths. The NRT spoke and dispersed the youths and visited the complainant to offer reassurance. The NRT continued to patrol this area for the remainder of their tour of duty.

All Pact priorities and hotspot areas patrolled by vehicle and on foot .
Two warrants executed today in respect to stolen property and drugs. A quantity of cannabis was recovered and a hydrauponics set up dismantled. Properties at Pitt street and York street were involved.
A male detained earlier this month by PCSOs for burglary pleaded guilty at court. He has been remanded in custody with the view of a 4/5 year sentance.

Today PC Oglesby and PCSO Gibson visited St Johns primary school on Sedgefield way. They gave a talk to KS1 pupils on the topic 'People who help us'. They gave a demonstration using the police car, quad, handcuffs, hats and batons. The children really enjoyed the afternoon and all entered a competion to design a brightly coloured police uniform.
A call was received at 19.23hrs regarding a large group of youths throwing bottles. The Neighbourhood Response Officers conducted a patrol of this location and no youths were seen at this time. A foot patrol was carried out down the alley at the bottom of Derwent Road, no youths in this area and no evidence of bottles being thrown. Further patrols were carried out during the night.
A report came in at 20.35hrs regarding criminal damage on Derwent Road whereby a residents phone line had been cut. The Neighbourhood Response Team responded to this call. On arrival at Derwent Road officers checked the property and found the phone line and the cable TV had been cut. Officers spoke with the complainant and advised her to request that the company that supply her cable re-route it ot avoid it being cut again. The complainant said the company were coming the next morning and this request would be made.
During the evening of 18th January, a forcewide wildlife operation was underway. 'Op Dunlin' concentrated on wildlife crime i.e poaching, coarsing etc. All rural and farmland areas of West were patrolled by vehicle and on foot several times throughout the evening.
On Sunday 29th January, local officers deviated their shifts in order to conduct a motorbike operation.

Officers worked a deviated shift today from 1500 x 0200. Thoroughout this shift officers patrolled Derwent Road at regular intervals both on foot and mobile. No incidents were reported of note.
Friday 3rd February 2012
Again officers from the local SNT deviated their shift and worked until 2am in the morning to combat anti-social behaviour. Derwent Road was patrolled regularly throughout this time.
Monday 7th February 2012
The Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled Derwent Road and surrounding area at 20.38 hrs. There were no incidents of note at this time.
Throughout this evening the Neighbourhood Response Team had 3 positive engagements with various youths throughout the Mexborough area, where the youths were liaised with, names and address taken and parents duly visited.

Local SNT Officers worked closely with our collegues from the traffic department last week to combat traffic offences in Mexborough. Joint patrols were carried out all over the Mexborough area in response to concerns raised at the most recent PACT meeting. Ten tickets were issued throughout the operation for offences such as obstruction, parking on double yellow lines/zig zag lines(outside schools) and driving/parking in pedestrian zones. Many drivers were spoken to and given advice also.

PCSO Flavell has today liased with DMBC and arranged a litter pick for a group of Mexborough teenagers. The youths have all previously been in trouble for various anti-social behaviour offences and each of the youths parents' permission was given beforehand. All the teenagers involved turned up, were very enthusiastic and the litter pick was a great success.

Two of Mexboroughs SNT officers were today presented with the Chief Inspectors 'Good Work Minute' Award. Officers Eley and Flavell were given the award at Davis House in Scawsby by T/Chief Inpector Tim Inness. Both officers apprehended a prolific burglar on Hamden Road, Mexborough in January.

All pact priorities have been patrolled by both the Neighbourhood Response Team and the Safer Neighbourhood Team. Three male youths were stopped on Derwent Road smelling strongly of cannabis. The males were searched but no cannabis was found. Details of the males were taken and ABC+ forms submitted. There has been nothing of note at the other priorities.

Over the weekend the Neighbourhood Response Team have attended several reports of noise nuisance in Mexborough. Reports of loud music and shouting came from addresses on Wath Road, Highwoods Crescent, Taunton Gardens, Clayfield Close and Cowper Street. All addresses were patrolled regularly and warnings given to the occupants.

A monthly overview was received from the Neighbourhood Response Team outlining patrols and postive engagements made. Altogether there have been 13 patrols made in the Derwent Road and surrounding area within the past month and 1 positive engagement made with a group of youths.

As part of her daily patrols, PCSO Flavell visited Ibbotsons Scrap Yard. On arrival she encountered a male with a quantity of stolen cable. Officer Flavell persued this male until he handed over the cable. This male was arrested and detained shortly after by the districts dedicated scrap metal team.

PC Oglesby and PCSS Dishman patrolled Derwent Road and surrounding area between the hours of 6pm and 10pm. Several residents spoken to and liased with but no incidents of note witnessed at this time.

Whilst on mobile patrol in the Derwent Drive area Officers from the Neighbourhood Response Team observed two males in an alleyway at the bottom of Derwent Road drinking alcohol and behaving in an anti-social manner. Officers spoke to the two males who identified themselves. Details of the males were taken and they were suitably advised regarding drinking alcohol in a public place.

Damien Noble was arrested on Saturday 24th March for Theft from Motor Vehicle. Two hours after a theft had taken place Damien Noble was stopped and searched and found to be in possession of stolen goods. He was remanded by court the following day.

The local Safer Neighbourhood Team have been on a 1pm x 10pm shift for the past couple of nights and Derwent Road has been patrolled extensively during this time. No incidents have been reported and nothing witnessed by the SNT.

Officers today were called to an incident outside the Dog Daisy Public House whereby it was reported that a female was being verbally abused by 3 males. On arrival the males had fled but were later caught and spoken to regarding the incident.
Regular patrols of the area have also been carried by the Safer Neighbourhood Team and the Neighbourhood Response Team between Friday 30th and today. No other incidents have been reported or witnessed.

Earlier this week warrants were served on both scrapyards in Mexborough. This was part of a large operation throughout the force. A large amount of scrap metal was recovered and 1 male was arrested.

In the early hours of this morning reports came in of arson attacks in the Mexborough area. The attacks took place at the Bhatia Centre and at the reception class of Windhill Junior School. The SNT came on duty at 8.00am and arrested a male shortly afterwards.

One of the PCSO's from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team tonight attended a community meeting at the Dog Daisy Public House. The main issue raised at this meeting was regarding nuisance motorbikes. We are regularly trying to combat this problem and are running another Motorbike Operation in a couple of weeks time.

The PACT Meeting took place this evening at The Resource Centre at Mexborough. There were 25 people in attendance. The same priorities were kept on for another month which was the decision of the floor. Minutes have been drawn up for this meeting and will be distributed at the next meeting.
