We did: 

26.01.12 -  At tonight’s PACT meeting it was decided that the issues of Road Safety in the area of Beckett Road – Speeding vehicles and nuisance parked vehicles esp near to Morley Road would be actioned as a PACT priority.

31.01.12  -  Between 13.30hrs and 14.15hrs Pcso 8073 Langstaff and Pcso 8276 Butterfield on cycle patrol along Beckett Road,all parked cars parked legally at this time.No Tickets issued.

01.02.12  -   Pc 74 Roberts and Pc 1173 Buddle conducted speeding operation on Beckett Road.Between 10.00hrs and 10.40hrs and between 11.25hrs and 11.50hrs 200 vehicles where checked through the speed camera.No vehicles went above the 30 mph limit.

02.02.12  - 10.00 – 12.00 Beckett Road was core-sampled in-relation to the new PACT priority.  Approximately 50 houses were visited and the results will be collated. Cars parked-up were checked but none were parked causing an obstruction.

06.02.12 - Foot patrol conducted at approx 14:00 hours and at 20:00 parking was checked all cars in order.  1 reassurance visit conducted and contact made with local businesses.

09.02.12 - During afters shift PCSO made various patrol along Beckett Road.  Takeaway premises were visited with regards to Business Watch. No issues reported at this time.

10.02.12 - Update provided by PC Buddle: A speed gun session was conducted on 07.02.12 whereby over a 100 vehicles speeds where checked – 0% of the vehicles were travelling fast enough to be prosecuted.

13.02.12 - PCSO Cooke and Kirk made mobile patrol between 1400 x 17:00 spoke to a number of residents and children – not causing any issues. Business Watch conducted at Business along Beckett Road.

14.02.12 - Due to a serious incident occurring in the Urban area, all Officers from your SNT were engaged in other duties this week.

16.02.12 - At approx 15:30 PCSO Butterfield x 2 vehicles that were parked up causing inconsiderately – both divers were spoken to and strongly advised and moved their vehicles. In addition 1 female who was in drink causing a nuisance along Beckett Road was strongly advised and moved on from the area.   

17.02.12 - PCSO Cooke and Kirk made a bike patrol at approx 17:30.  Businesses were visited and area checked for obstruction.

18.02.12 - PCSO Butterfield and Cooke made a bike patrol in the area at 14:00 – 15:00 the area was free from any vehicle obstructions.

23.02.12 - One vehicle was advised by PCSO Butterfield and asked to move for parking on the footpath on Beckett Road.

23.02.12 - At tonights meeting it was decided that this priority would be kept on but changed slightly. Speeding has been removed from the priority and cycling along footpaths added. The priority now covers cycling on footpaths along Beckett Road and the ancillary roads and also obstructive parking in the same area mainly focusing on Beckett Road junction with Morley Road.

24.02.12 - PCSO Langstaff and PC Buddle were present at the junction of Morley Road and Beckett Road between 1900hrs - 2000hrs today. 6 motorists were advised about parking on double yellow lines.

27.02.12 - Pcso Cooke and Pcso Langstaff conducted cycle patrols in the area from 10.40hrs till 12.00hrs.From the PACT meeting a vehicle was mentioned with no tax. This vehicle has been issued with a CLE 2/6 and sent through to DVLA. Two vehicles where advised regarding parking on Beckett Road on Double yellow lines. Alley Ways patrolled and dumped rubbish on Lowther Road reported to DMBC. It was also the first day of the Hit Squad in and around Morley Road.

Urban SNT and Doncaster Council will conduct regular foot patrols to identify offending vehicles, drivers and cyclists. Positive actions and subsequent enforcement will be taken to deal with the problem.

28.02.12 - Thorough patrols conducted throughout the shift 0800 x 1700 by PCSOs.  X 2 Fixed Penalty tickets have been issued for vehicles causing an obstruction within the area of Beckett Road.  Liaison with DMBC Area Officers and Cycling advisory cards have been passed on to staff to use and issue.   You can view the card by clicking on the attachment below. 

29.02.12 - Cycle patrols have been conducted during an 8x5 shift today by all 4 Wheatley PCSO's. During our patrols all vehicles were parked legally and no cyclists were witnessed on the footpaths. 01.03.12 - Cycle patrols were conducted in the area today. During this time all vehicles were seen to be parked legally. Also no cyclists were witnessed on the pavement during this time.

02.03.12 - Mobile patrols have been conducted along Beckett Road today focusing on the junction with Morley Road. All vehicles were parked legally at this time.

05.03.12    Pcso Kirk and Pcso Langstaff conducted patrols in the area of Beckett Road.1 x Fixed Penalty Ticket issued Parking.

07.03.12    The Neighbourhood Response Team attended at a property on Beckett Road in response to a complaint about loud music. On their arrival loud music could still be heard and so the NRT issued the occupant with a noise warning letter.

09.03.12    Pcso Kirk and Pcso Langstaff patrolled the area,spoke to a couple of residents on Lockwood road.Re youths in the alleyways.Spoke to DMBC Parking attendants,asked if they would patrol the Beckett Road area outside Yorkshire Tyres and Morley Road dealing with the Double Yellow Lines.

15.03.12    Pcso Langstaff and Pcso Butterfield conducted cycle patrols on Beckett Road from 09.30hrs all vehicles at this time parked legally.

21.03.12    PCSO's Butterfield, Kirk and Cooke conducted cycle patrol along the above location. All vehicles were parked legally at this time and no cyclists were witnessed on the pavement.

22.03.12     PCSO's Kirk and Cooke conducted mobile patrol in the area today around 12 noon and again at 14:30. 1 vehicle was advised about their parking and no cyclists were seen on the pavement.

23.03.12     Pcso's Cooke and Butterfield conducted mobile patrol in the area around 12:30. At this time all vehicles were parked legally and no cyclists were witnessed on the footpath.

26.03.12     PCSO's Langstaff, Butterfield and Cooke patrolled Beckett Road throughout the morning. A taxi driver was spoken to and moved from the double yellow lines at the junction of Morley Road.

27.03.12     PCSO Cooke patrolled Beckett Road throughout the day. A delivery driver was spoken to and moved who had parked on double yellow lines at the junction of Jubilee Road.

28.03.12     PCSO Butterfield and Langstaff patrolled the area during the early afternoon. No vehicles were observed to be causing an obstruction or parked illegally.

29.03.12     At tonights meeting it was decided that obstruction of the highway on Beckett Road and ancilliary roads would be kept on for another month as a PACT priority. A cyclist was also stopped on Beckett Road and advised regarding riding on the footpath.

02.04.12      The area was patrolled today by PCSO Langstaff and PCSO Cooke. All vehicles were observed to be parked legally at this time.

03.04.12      Patrols were conducted in the area today by PCSO Langstaff and PCSO Cooke. All vehicles were observed to be parked legally at this time.

04.04.12     Patrols have been conducted in the area today . A vehicle was witnessed without current tax. This has been reported to DVLA. Also the Neighbourhood Response Team have today issued a fixed penalty notice to a male for allowing his dog to foul the footpath.

05.04.12      Patrols have been conducted in the area today by PCSO Butterfield and PCSO Langstaff. 2 cyclists were advised on Thorne Road regarding riding on the footpath.

10.04.12       Cycle patrols were conducted in the area today by PCSO Butterfield. Mobile patrol were conducted by PCSOs Langstaff and Cooke. 2 cyclists were stopped on Beckett Road and advised regarding cycling on the pavement.

11.04.12       Cycle patrols were conducted in the area today by PCSOs Butterfield and Cooke. 1 cyclist was stopped on Thorne Road and advised regarding cycling on the footpath.

12.04.12         Mobile patrols conducted in the area today by PCSOs Butterfield and Cooke. 2 Cyclists were stopped and advised regarding cycling on the footpath. 1 was on Thorne Road and the other on Highfield Road.

13.04.12        Patrols were specifically targeted around the Beckett Road and Thorne Road area tonight to tackle cyclists. 5 Cyclists in all were stopped and advised regarding cycling on the footpath. 1 of them was also issued with a £30 fine for having no lights on his cycle. These were stopped: 2 Thorne Road, 1 on Coventry Grove, 1 on Beckett Road and 1 on Avenue Road.

14.04.12 Cycle patrols were conduct by PCOS Butterfield and Mosley of which 1 fixed penalty ticket was issued to a cyclist on Thorne Road for failing to display lights and x2 fixed penalty notices were issued on Nether Hall Road. 

18.04.12 SNT conducted a cycle operation between times of 1900 x 2100 hours at various locations in the Wheatley area.  3 cyclists were advised and one fixed penalty ticket was issued on Kings Road for failing to display lights.  Due to the weather the area was quiet.

19.04.12 SNT conducted a cycle operation between times of 1900 x 2100 hours at various locations in the Wheatley area. Due to the weather the area was quiet. 

20.04.12 SNT conducted a cycle operation between times of 2000 x 2100 hours at various locations in the Wheatley area.  2 cyclists were issued fixed penalty notices of £30 on Thorne Road for failing to display lights.

23.04.12 PCSO Cooke and PCSO Butterfield conducted foot patrols in the area throughout todays shift. 1 motorist was spoken to who was thought to have parked on double yellow lines on Beckett Road however the vehicle had broken down.

25.04.12 PCSO Cooke and PCSO Langstaff conducted foot patrols in the area today. 1 vehicle was reported to DVLA for not displaying tax on St.Marys Road.

26.04.12 At tonights meeting it was decided to retain this priority for another month but to again slightly reword it to focus on new issues raised. It nows reads: Vehicle parking/ obstruction issues in the areas of Beckett Road junc. Morley Rd, and Wentworth Road junc. Ferrers Road

01.05.12 8298 Made a mobile patrol during the time 1845 – 1950 hours area was clear form any obstructions.  Reassurance visit made within the area – of which Beckett road was monitored – no issues.

02.05.12 - Attended Beckett Road report of a criminal damage incident.  Parking was monitored whilst dealing with incident and no cars caused obstructions to the highway.  

09.05.12 - PC 74 Roberts issued parking notice to vehicle on Beckett Road. PC 984 Nuttall spoke to 4 drivers parked on Beckett Road- who all were advised. 

10.05.12 - PC 1260 Payne, and PCSO Cooke patrolled area including, Norborough Road, Wentworth Road, Ferrers Road, Lifford Road, Woodhouse Road and Harrowden Road of which 8 Parking Advisory issued, 5 motorists spoken too regarding their parking – advised and moved on. 5 Residents liaised with regarding the issues.  Liaised with Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Highways Agency. PC Nuttall and PCSO Langstaff patrolled the same area and issued 3 advisories and 1 Fixed Penalty Notice, Spoke with a Business on Beckett Road regarding parking of vehicles.  

17.05.12 - Patrols conducted in the area by PC Payne and PCSO Cooke. 4 x parking advisory notices issued. Video footage was taken of the parking problems. Joint patrols were conducted with Parking enforcement officers. A minor RTC was dealt with at the scene.

18.05.12 - Mobile patrols conducted in the area by PCSO Butterfield and PCSO Cooke however due to it being the weekend the parking was acceptable.
