Residents complaining about anti-social behaviour taking place on Childers Street centering around 2 properties.

We did: 

24.08.10 - Mobile patrols carried out on Childers Street by Police Community Support Officer Supervisor (PCSS) Dishman and Police Community Support Officer(PCSO) Bates between 3.50pm and 4.10pm.  At 7pm Community Safety Wardens (CSWs) patrolled the street and surrounding area.  

25.08.10 - PCSO Bates and  PCSS Dishman patrolled the area between 8.10pm and 9pm.  Between 12am and 1pm CSWs patrolled the Street and surrounding area.

26.08.10 -  At 11am the area was patrolled by CSWs. PCSO Bates and Police Constable (PC) Freestone patrolled the area between 8pm and 8.20pm.

27.08.10 - PCSO Colclough and PCSO Martin patrolled the area between 2pm and 4pm. PCSO’s also conducted mobile patrols in the area between 7pm and 8.30pm.

29.08.10 - PC Freeestone has made contact with Doncaster Council Landlord Liason Officer. Regarding the issues and asking for assistance. Police Sergeant (PS) Bowen & PC Hoyland conducted house to house visits at several of the problem addresses on Childers Street at 5.30pm. Unfortunately there was no answer to knocking at this time.

31.8.10 - PCSO Bates and Colclough conducted high visibility mobile patrols between 10am and 11am , then again 1.30pm x 2.30pm.

01.09.10 - PCSOs Martin and Colclough conducted high visibility foot patrols in the area between the hours of 10am and 12pm. CSWs have also been in the area today on patrols and noted damage to windows of some of the properties on Childers St. PCSO Bates and a CSW also conducted joint patrols in the area between 15.45 and 16.15.

02.09.10 - An Incident was attended by officers on Childers St in relation to a fight on the street. On attendance no-one was seen fighting in the street and no-one came forward to make a complaint. PCSO Colclough and Martin have patrolled the area between 1.30pm and 3pm. CSWs have also been in the area today on patrols and engaged with the locals residents and young people in the area.

03.09.10 - PCSO Colclough and PCSO martin patrol area between 2pm and 3pm, then again at 6.30pm. CSWs have also been in the area today on patrols at approx 7.30pm for thirty minutes.

04.09.10 - CSWs have been in the area today on high visibility patrols at approx 3pm for one hour.

08.09.10 - PCSO Quinn has been in the area conducting high visibility patrols on his bike at approx 16.30, a nuisance motorbike was seen at rear of Cooper St. An attempt was made to find out where the bike had come from, to no gain. . CSWs conducted patrols in the area at 5pm.

09.09.10 - An incident was reported, re nuisance motorbike using Childers and Cooper St as a racetrack. This area was patolled at the time of the incident by PCSOs Quinn and Bates, but the bike was not seen on arrival. The Police Control room were informed that this would be included in our evening patrols. A council CC-online also came through for the same incident. CSWs patrolled the area for one hour at 3pm with nothing to report.

10.09.10 - Information was received as to which address the nuisance motorbike was being stored. PCSO Bates and PCSS Dishman have been in the area conducting high visibility patrols at approx 7.30pm and 8.30pm. PCSO Quinn and Evans were in the area also between 8.30 & 9.15pm. CSWs delivered Anti Social Behaviour monitoring forms to addresses on the street that had requested them and also patrolled the area at 9pm.

14.09.10 - PCSO Martin and a CSW delivered leaflets to all addresses regarding an  Anti Social Behaviour  Drop in that had been organised for the local residents. Details were also given about the next Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meeting. They also conducted patrols in the area between 11.20am and 12.30pm and again between 2pm and 3pm with PC Freestone. An incident was also reported about a noise nuisance at an address on the street.

15.09.10 - PCSO Martin and PC Cheryl Haigh conducted mobile patrols in the area between 11.20am and 12.30pm. PCSOs Quinn and Bates have also conducted patrols in the area between 3.45pm and 4.15pm.

16.09.10 - PC Haigh, PCSO Martin a CSW and another member of Doncaster Council operated a drop in meeting at the Hyde Park Partnership on Carr House Road. The Childers Street residents were invite to attend. Various members of the public attended and some Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) monitoring forms were given out along with the contact number for the noise nuisance team. Some completed ASB monitoring forms were also recieved back from a couple of residents. The residents were informed that any completed forms that were recieved would remain anonymous. PC Haigh, PCSO Martin and a CSW conducted foot patrols in the area between 11.50am and 12.30pm. Another CSW patrolled the area between 2.30pm to 3pm. PCSO’s Quinn and Bates conducted patrols in the area between 4.15pm and 4.35pm.

17.09.10 - PCSO Martin and PC Haigh patrolled the area between 2.30pm and 3.40pm. This matter was discussed at today’s PACT meeting which was held at the Town Fields Pavilion.  The manager of the premises in question was present and agreed that the matter needed urgent attention. He did say that he had been in liaison with the councils representative from Private sector Housing. He requested assistance from the Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) as they wished to serve Section 8 Housing Act notices on several of the tenants next week to evict them from the premises. It was then decided by all present that Childers Steet should remain a a PACT Priority for another month.

20.09.10 - PCSOs Bates and Quinn have been in the area conducting high visibility patrols of the area at approx 6.30pm. CSWs have also been in the area today at approx 4pm for thirty minutes.

 21.09.10 - Staff from the SNT assisted the landlord of the property in the serving of the section 8 of the housing act notices on the residents in the properties that were thought to be the reason for the anti social behaviour in the area. Patrols of the area continued throughout the day by all members of the team. CSWs were also in the area at approx 6.30pm. 

22.09.10 - PCSO Martin and PCSO Colclough have carried out mobile patrols in area between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. PCSO Quinn and Bates were in the area between 8.30pm and 9pm. CSWs have been in the area conducting high visibility patrols at approx 8pm for thirty minutes.

23.09.10 - PCSOs Martin  and Colclough conducted patrols in the area between 6.30pm and 8pm. PCSO Quinn and PCSS Dishman were in the area at approx 8.45pm for thirty minutes and the CSWs were patrolling the atreet at 2.30pm and again in the evening. At this time they engaged with the local residents and discussed the problems in the area. The Neighbourhood Response Team (NRT) have been the area conducting patrols. This was done approx 8.30pm.

24.09.10 - PCSOs Bates and Colclough patrolled the area between 4pm and 4.30pm. CSWs were in the area also at 8pm, conducting high visibility patrols.

26/09/10 -PC Haigh delivered to 70 addresses ‘We asked, You said, We did’ leaflets to residents of Childers street, this was to inform the residents of the actions that had been taken by the SNT. The NRT have also been the area conducting patrols. These were done at approx 02.15am.

28/09/10 - PCSO Martin and a CSW completed the leaflet drop and patrolled the area between 10am and 12.30pm. PCSO Quinn and Bates have been patrolling the area on two occasions today, during the following times, 1pm and 4pm. A plan of the area was submitted to a partnership agency to help with the Dome Hawk application along with recommended sites for them to be fitted. This application is being processed.

29/09/10 - Officers from the SNT attended an address on Childers street and entered the property to attempt an arrest a female who had an outstanding warrant out for her arrest.

30/09/10 - PCSO Martin spoke to a member of the public who stated that since the evictions, the rest of the tenants had been behaving themselves.  CSWs have been in the area also today patrolling the whole area. This was done at approx 10am .

01.10.10 - PCSOs Evans and Eschoe have been patrolling the area whilst doing patrols in the Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) car. This is a scheme that has been set up by South Yorkshire Police (SYP) to combat anti social behaviour in areas that have been identified as hotspots or are a PACT priority.

02.10.10 - PCSOs Martin and Wilburn have been patrolling the area whilst doing the ASB car.

03.10.10 - PCs Freestone and Spooner have been patrolling the area whilst doing the ASB car.

04.10.10 - PCSOs Hoyland and Mosely have been patrolling the area whilst doing patrols in the ASB car. The NRT also conducted patrols in the area at approximately 4am.

05.10.10 - PCSOs Abram-Koziel and Murray have been patrolling the area whilst doing patrols in the Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) car.

06.10.10 - PCSOs Bennett and Abram-Koziel have also been in the area whilst doing the ASB car. CSWs have also been conducting high visibility patrols of the area at approx 2.30pm and again between 9pm-10pm. CSWs have been in the area also conducting high visibility patrols. These were conducted at approx 3.30pm and between 9pm and 10pm.

07.10.10 - PC Haigh and PCSO Martin conducted patrols in the area between 2pm and 3.30pm. PCSO Crossley and Bussey have been patrolling the area whilst doing patrols in the ASB car. CSWs have been in the area conducting pro active patrols in the area at approx 6pm and again between 8.30pm and 9.40pm

08.10.10 - PCSOs Evans, Baker and Quinn have been patrolling the area whilst doing the ASB car. This was completed on separate occasions during the day. CSWs have been in the area conducting proactive patrols in the area at approx 3pm and again at 7pm.

09.10.10  PCSOs Barnes and Martin have been the area at various times throughout the shift until 10pm conducting high visibility patrols in the ASB car.

10.10.10 PCSO Colclough and PCSO Crossley have been the area at various times throughout the shift until 10pm conducting high visibility patrols in the ASB car.

11.10.10 The NRT conducted patrols in the area at 1932hrs with no problems being encountered. The Urban ASB car also conducted mobile patrols in the area between 2pm and 10pm. CSWs have been in the area today conducting high visibility patrols. These were conducted 12.30pm for appprox one hour.

12.10.10 PCSOs Martin and Colclough patrolled the area between 0940 and 1030hrs. PC Haigh and PCSO Martin were in the area between 1300 and 1400.PCSO Bates patrolled the area between 3-3:30pm. CSWs conducted high visibility patrols of the area at 9.30am and again at 3.30pm. During the afternoon patrols staff engaged with local residents

13.10.10 PCSO Colclough and Crossley patrol area at 2:45pm, 3:45pm and 8pm. The NRT have also been in the area conducting high visibility patrols at approx 10.50pm. CSWs have been in the area today conducting high visibility patrols. These were conducted at 9am.

14.10.10 PCSO Martin, CSW Charter and Team Leader Ron Powell conducted a drop in for the Hyde Park area in the Peoples Opportunity Centre on Carr House Road at 10am. The Urban ASB Car conducted mobile patrols in the area between 2pm and 10pm. CSWs were in the area at approx 11.30am conducting high visibility patrols.

15.10.10 PCSO Martin and CSW Charter conducted patrols in the area between 11am and 12pm. PCSO’s Colclough and Bates were in the area between 132pm and 1pm.

16.10.10 Hyde Park SNT staff on weekly leave but Urban ASB included the area as part of their Hotspot Patrols between 2pm and 10pm.

18.10.10 PCSO Martin and CSW’s patrolled the area between 9am and 12pm.  Also the dedicated ASB car for Urban patrolled Childers Street and surrounding area between the hours of 2pm and 10pm. 

19.10.10 PCSO Martin and CSW Charter were in the area between 3pm and 5pm.  Also the dedicated ASB car for Urban partrolled Childers Street and surrounding area between the hours of 2pm and 5pm. 

21.10.10 PCSO Martin patrolled the area with a member of DMBC staff at 3.30pm.  The dedicated ASB car also patrolled the area between the hours of 2pm and 10pm at regular intervals. CSW's later patrolled the Childers street area at 1pm until 2pm and again at 8pm until 9pm.

22.10.10 PCSO Colclough patrols the area at 2pm. CSW's have patrolled the general area at 7pm until 8pm.

26.10.10 CSW's patrolled the Childers street area between 10am and 11am.

27.10.10 PC's attend local property following report of ASB. CSW's have patrolled the Childers street area of the neighbourhood at 10am until 11am and again at 3pm until 4pm.

28.10.10 PCSO Colclough patrols area at 10.35am. CSW's also have patrolled the neighbourhood at 2pm and again at 4pm until 4.45pm.

29.10.10 PC Freestone and PCSO Colclough conduct patrols at 3.50pm. CSW's have also patrolled the area from 2pm until 3pm.

30.10.10 PCSO Colclough patrols area at 1.30pm. PCSO Martin and PCSO Colclough conduct mobile patrols in area at 6pm. PCSO's Evans and Martin were in the area again between 8pm and 9pm.

02.11.10 PCSO Martin and PCSO Turton patrolled the area between 7pm and 9pm as part of the Urban Anti Social Behaviour car.

03.11.10 PCSO Evans and PCSO Colclough patrol area at 2.30pm. PCSO's patrolled the general area again between 8.30pm and 9pm. CSW's conduct patrols along the Childers street area at 2pm and again at 8pm.

04.11.10 PCSO's Colclough and Martin made regular patrols in the Childers street area between the hours of 6pm and 11pm. CSW's have patrolled Childers street between the hours of 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

05.11.10 PCSO Colclough and PCSO Martin have conducted mobile patrols along Childers street and the surrounding area between the hours of 7pm and 8.30pm and again between 10pm and 11pm. CSW's and CFO's have patrolled the area between 6pm and 8pm.

08.11. 10 It has been decided that due to the recent lack of incidents in Childers Street, that the Domehawk Cameras would be better utilised elsewhere

15.11.10 - PCSO's Martin and Colclough conducted patrols in the area between 5.30pm and 8.30pm. 

16.11.10 - At 3.20pm and 4.50pm PCSO's Colclough and Martin conducted a mobile patrol in the area.  Patrols were also conducted at 7.20pm and 8.40pm.  Incident 82 called in by a resident claiming that 2 males had kicked the back door in and were cooking food in the kitchen.  Officers attended and it is believed that the claims were "drunken ramblings".   

17.11.2010 -  PCSOs Martin and Abram –Koziel conduct patrols in the area at 5.45pm. the NRT patrolled at 10.41pm.

18.11.2010 - PCSOs Martin and Abram-Koziel and PCSS Dishman patrolled the area throughout the 1pm-10pm shift
