Residents complaining about cars being parked there during the day and causing an obstruction.

We did: 

25.08.10 - Mobile patrols carried out of Welbeck Road, Firbeck Road, Danum Road and Sandbeck Road by Poilce Community Support Officer Supervisor (PCSS) Dishman and Poilce Community Support Officer (PCSO) Bates between 4pm and 4.15pm.  A large amount of cars were parked on Firbeck Road, some registration numbers taken.  Further patrols of the area will be done again tomorrow.

26.08.10 - PCSOs Bates and Dishman patrolled the area between 4pm and 5pm.  Three parking advisory notices issued on Firbeck Road.  PCSOs Bates, Dishman and Police Constable (PC) Freestone patrolled the area between 8pm and 9:15pm. A local resident was reassured about parking issues and given details about the next Partners And Commuinties Together (PACT) meeting.

06.09.10 -  The Team Leader from the Council has sent an e-mail to the Parking Enforcement Officers (PEOs) requesting patrols of the 4 streets that had been mentioned at the PACT meeting and take appropriate action to vehicles who were improperly parked particularly over drop kerbs in front of drives. A response was recieved back from the Parking Enforcment Officers stating that this would be done.

08.09.10 - Community Safety Wardens (CSWs) and PCSOs have been conducting high visibility patrols of the area. A local resident was contacted by the Team Leader from the council and given the news that PEOs were going to be in the area. The resident then made it known to the team leader that she had been mis understood at the PACT meeting and that she did not want any action taking against cars parked in the area as they were residents vehicles. The patrols of the PEOs in the area were then cancelled, so as not to upset the local residents.

09.09.10 - The team leader from the council today recieved a telephone call from the Parking Enforcement Manager (PEM). The PEM informed him that when enforcement team patrolled the area on the previous day they had come across 9 vehicles parked across drives. On each occasion when details of the vehicles were being taken, residents came out of properties or nearby properties to indicate that they owned the vehicles. No tickets were issued. He then also received a  telephone  call from the concerned resident re-iterating that she didn’t want any enforcement being taken against vehicles parked across drives or any where in the 4 streets that were included in the PACT priority.

10.09.10 - Community Safety Wardens (CSWs) and PCSOs have been conducting high visibility patrols of the area. CSWs were in the area at approx 7.30pm. PCSO Quinn and Bates were also in the area at approx 4pm and 8pm on patrols.

13.09.10 - CSWs patrolled the area at 10.30 am.

14.09.10 - CSWs patrolled the area at 2:30 pm. PCSO Bates was stopped by a local resident who made complaints with regards the parking issues on her street. PCSO Bates also advised a driver of a parked car about their inconsiderate parking. This person then proceeded to move her car.

15.09.10 - CSWs patrolled the area at 11.30 am with no parking problems noted. PCSO Quinn and Bates were also in the area on foot patrols. These were conducted at approx 11am and 3pm.

16.09.10 - CSWs  patrolled the area at 3.00pm. PCSO Quinn and Bates were also in the area conducting high visibility patrols of the area.

17.09.10 - CSWs patrolled the area at 11.30am today.

20/09/10 - A local resident was contacted after he raised concerns about parking and Inconsiderate driving on Welbeck Rd. He was advised that the area had become a PACT priority. This concern was made via a CC-online, which is a way members of the public can raise concerns with the local council via the internet or phone. This can be found on the council webpage www.doncaster.gov.uk or by ringing 01302 736000. PCSOs Quinn and Bates have been in the area conducting high visibility patrols in the area at 3.30pm. At 8.30pm PCSOs Quinn, Colclough and Special Constable (SC) Lydon were in the area.

21/09/10 - PCSO Quinn and Police Community Support Officer Supervisor (PCSS) Dishman have been in the area conducting high visibility patrols at 8.45pm. CSWs have also been patrolling the area at 8pm.

22/09/10 - PCSOs Quinn and Bates have been in the area conducting high visibility patrols at approx 4.45pm. CSWs patrolled the area at 7:30pm. During this time They also visited a resident in the area and discussed various community issues that were of a concern to them.

23/09/10 - PCSOs Quinn and Bates have been conducting high visibility patrols in the area at approx 6pm. While on patrol, a car was seen to be parked Inconsiderately. Because of this a Parking Advisory Notice was attached to the car, advising that no action would be taken on this occasion, but if it was seen parked in the same manner again, it could recieve a £30 fine. CSWs patrolled that area at 4pm.

24/09/10 - PCSO Bates and PCSS Dishman patrolled the area in full at approx 8pm. CSWs patrolled the area at 2.30pm.

28 /09/10 - PCSO Quinn and Bates conducted high visibility patrols of the area during the day. These were completed once in the morning at approx 11am and again in the afternoon at 3pm. During the patrol in the afternoon various cars were issued with parking advisory notices whilst they were parked on the end of Firbeck Rd. CSWs were in the area also at 11am for one hour.

29/09/10 - PCSO Quinn and bates have been in the area again today conducting high visibility patrols at approx 10.30am and 2.30pm. Officers were stopped by a member of the public who expressed concerns about the parking issues on Firbeck and Roman Rd. He was informed of the new PACT priority and was informed that Parking Advisory notices had been issued to offending vehicles. CSWs have been in the area at approx 2.30pm for one hour. 

30/09/10 - PCSO Bates and a CSW have been in the area conducting high visibility patrols of the area. These were completed at 11.30pm.
