Nuisance youth's congregating around the take away and bus shelter on Cobcar Lane, Elsecar.
After school between 6pm and 11pm daily.
Increased patrols in the area at times specified by the public, took positive action when moving groups of youths on by taking them home, informing parents and providing Anti-Social behaviour letters to relevant offenders.
Arrested a female who had 'bus surfed' from the Interchange in the Town Centre and then caused a fight with local youths, whilst under the influence of alcohol.
Liaised with the local shop to advise about how to prevent nuisance youths from congregating outside their shop.
Regular patrols by local SNT Officers and the Anti Social Behaviour team throughout November and into December.
Mounted Officers requested to be provide high visibility mobile patrol on various dates in December

Ongoing patrols in the area continuing to take details of local youths who were present and providing advice to them about their behaviour.
Conducted Operation Bala - a test purchasing operation where the local shops refused to sell alcohol to under age customers.
