The PACT meeting held at the Hillsborough Arena on the 18th February 2010 decided to continue this area as a PACT priority for the coming month.
The priority centres on the Hallowmoor Road/Ben Lane junction

PACT Activity
From the 1st of February to the 10th we have conducted an additional 12 hours of high visibility foot patrol in this area.
From the 12th of February to the 24th we had conducted additional fourteen hours high visibility patrol in this area.
On the 19th of February officers on police mountain bikes patrolled Rural Ln, Ben Ln, Hallowmoor Rd, Luke Ln, Bland Ln and Laird Ave.
On the 16th of February officers on police mountain bikes patrolled Rural Ln, Ben Ln, Hallowmoor Rd, Luke Ln, Bland Ln and Laird Ave.
On the 12th of February we conducted hourly high visibility patrols on Hallowmoor Road
On the 11th of February officers on police mountain bikes patrolled Rural Ln, Ben Ln, Hallowmoor Rd, Luke Ln, Bland Ln and Laird Ave.
On the 1st of February we carried out high visibility patrols of this area.
From the 21st of January to the 27th we have conducted five additional hours of high visibility reassurance patrols in addition to normal patrolling.
On the 25th of January we arrested three people who had been involved in a public order incident on Rural Lane.
On the 11th of January we took the details of five youths found to be acting in an antisocial manner on Ben Lane. Letters have been sent to their home address advising parents and guardians about their childs behaviour.
From the 1st of January to the 7th of January we have carried out ten additional high visibility foot patrol hours in this area.

We recently conducted an operation which included the sighting of a ‘knife arch’ in the Hillsborough area. This knife arch is used to detect any weapons being carried by anyone who should walk through it.
On the 25th of February we concentrated patrols in the Hillsborough and Stannington area on the Vulnerable Vehicle Scheme. We noted vehicles that had left in an unsafe manner and contacted the owners advising them. This scheme is focused on working with the community to prevent crime from happening.
On the 25th of February we executed a warrant at an address in Wisewood controlled drugs were seized and a suspect has been arrested in relation to this.
On the 21st of February we took the details and advised three people on Infirmary Road regarding their behaviour.

On the 21st of February eleven people in the Stannington area had their details taken and were advised regarding their behaviour.

On the 19th of February we took the details of five people. These people were advised in relation to their behaviour whilst in the Stannington area.
On the 19th of February we executed a warrant at an address in Hillsborough controlled drugs and suspected stolen items were seized and two suspects have been arrested in relation to this.
On the 18th of February we hand delivered Parent Advisory Letters to the home address’ of youths, in Stannington, that have been found to be causing antisocial behaviour. We took this opportunity to advise the parents face to face.
On the 17th of February we made several patrols of the Morley Street Allotments. Following concerns of local residence that it may get targeted.
From the 8th of February to the 14th of February we have been concentrating focus to the Stannington area to ensure that the local residence know how to contact their local Safer Neighbourhood Team. We provided our contact details and asked their opinion on how they felt local issues could be better addressed.
On the 17th of February eleven people were advised and details were taken regarding their behaviour in the Stannington area.
On the 16th of February we took the details and advised four youth in relation to their behaviour in the Stannington area.
On the 14th of February a man was arrested and a further three were searched in relation to the possession of controlled drugs. One man has been charged. All persons involved had their details taken.
On the 14th of February we conducted high visibility patrols in the Stannington Area five people had their details taken and were advised regarding their behaviour.
On the 13th of February we conducted an operation using a passive police drugs dog in the Stannington area. Three people were arrested in relation to this for possession of controlled drugs.
On the 13th of February Community Support Officers in conjunction with Police Constables conducted spot checks using a weapons detector at the Hillsborough Interchange. No arrests or concerns came back from this.
On the 12th of February we conducted a Vulnerable Vehicle Search in the area of lower Stannington we noted vehicles that had left in an unsafe manner and contacted the owners advising the. This scheme is focused on working with the community to prevent crime from happening.
On the 12th of February as a part of our focussed patrol we took the details and advised nine people in relation to their conduct in the Stannington area.
On the 12th of February we took the details of two youths causing antisocial behaviour in the Stannington area. These details will be used to send Parent Advisor Letters to their home address.

On the 8th of February we stopped five people in the Stannington acting in an antisocial manner. They were advised about their behaviour.

On the 4th to the 5th of February we have visited Wardsend Allotments in response to a number of calls concerning this area.
On the 4th of February four youths had their details taken at Liberty Hill. These details will be used to send a letter to their parents or guardians to advise them of their behaviour.
On the 4th of February a small group of youths were spoken to on Dunella Road and advised.
On the 2nd of February we stopped ten people involved in antisocial behaviour in the Wisewood area. Details were taken so that letters could be sent home to their guardians.

On the 28th and 29th of January we conducted high visibility patrols around Wisewood School at closing time following reports of possible antisocial behaviour in this area.
On the 14th of January we conducted high visibility patrols around Wisewood School following reports of antisocial behaviour that had been occurring in that area. A group of youths were advised about their behaviour.
On the 13th of January we conducted high visibility patrols around Wisewood School following reports of antisocial behaviour that had been occurring in that area.
On the 12th of January we dealt with youths acting in an antisocial behaviour Wisewood & Stannington area. Details have been taken and letters have been sent home to their home address.
On the 6th of January we attended an incident on Little Matlock Gardens. Youths that were involved in antisocial behaviour at this location were advised accordingly.
On the 6th of January we conducted foot patrol in Loxley & Wisewood two groups of youths were advised about their antisocial behaviour in particular throwing objects at passing vehicles. Eight of these youths had their details taken so that letters could be sent home to advise their parents.
On the 2nd of January we recovered a small motorised bike from the tennis courts on Fox Road that had been involved in antisocial behaviour in the area.
On the 1st of January we engaged the community by going door to door introducing the team and listening to any issues you had. The streets we visited included, Laird Drive, Wisewood
