Traffic is contravening the "No-Entry" sign into Ashfield Road and cutting through from Hall Flat Lane onto Tickhill Road.  Traffic is also speeding and residents are concerned that this is going to cause an accident.

We did: 

05.07.11 - Ashfield Road patrolled by PCSO's betweeen 8.30am and 9.30am.  During our time there no car contravened the one way system.

06.07.11 - Area patrolled by PCSO's between 8.30am and 9.30am and again at 4pm x 4.30pm. 

07.07.11 - Ashfield Road patrolled at regular intervals throughout tour of duty by PCSO's (8am x 5pm).

08.07.11 - Ashfield Road patrolled by PCSO's from 4pm x 5pm.

09.07.11 - Mobile patrols carried out by the SNT of Ashfield Road throughout the day from midday to 10pm. 

13.07.11 - Directed foot patrols carried out by PCSO's at 4.30pm.

14.07.11 - Staff from the SNT patrolled Ashfield Road at various times throughout their tour of duty (1pm x 10pm).

15.07.11 - Directed patrols carried out by officers from the SNT throughout their tour of duty (1pm x 10pm).

18.07.11 - Ashfield Road was patrolled at busy times throughout the day by officers from the SNT.

19.07.11 - Ashfield Road and surrounding areas patrolled by PCSO's at busy times throughout their tour of duty (8am x 5pm).

21.07.11 - Area patrolled by PC Micklethwaite at 8.30am x 9.30am.   

22.07.11 - Ashfield Road patrolled by PC Disbury between 8.15am and 9.30am.  Two Fixed Penalty Ticketss issued.

28.07.11 - At this evenings PACT meeting it was agreed that due to the ongoing roadworks in and around Balby Road this would remain on as a PACT priority for a further month. 

02.08.11 - Road Policing Group informed of the issues surrounding Ashfield Road and attention will be paid to the area when possible.  Area also patrolled and monitored throughout SNT duty times and two motorists spoken to and warned regarding contravention of no entry sign.

03.08.11 - Meeting set up with DMBC Highways department to discuss possible long term solution to the problems caused by the no entry point on Ashfield Road.

04.08.11 - Area monitored by SNT officers during duty times (8am - 5pm).

05.08.11 - Area monitored by SNT officers during duty times (1pm - 11pm).

06.08.11 - Traffic in and around the area monitored by SNT officers due to roadworks on Balby Road, no problems occured.

10.08.11 - Area monitored throughout duty times by SNT officers (1pm - 10pm).

11.08.11 - Area patrolled and monitored for traffic violations throughout duty times by SNT staff (1pm - 10pm.)

12.08.11 -  Area monitored by SNT officers during duty times (1pm - 11pm).

15.08.11 - Traffic in and around the area monitored by SNT officers due to roadworks on Balby Road, no problems occured.

16.08.11 - Area monitored by SNT officers during duty times (8am - 5pm).

17.08.11 - Area monitored by SNT officers during duty times (8am - 5pm).

25.08.11 - At this evenings PACT Meeting it was agreed that this PACT Priority would now be discharged.  The contravention of the one way system would still be looked at as an ongoing concern.
