DMBC have been contacted with a request for the NRT(neighbourhood response team) to carryout regular patrols of this area.

Whilst on patrol in this area today officers were approached by a concerned resident who stated that they hadny seen an elderly male for several days. Unfortunetly when officers gained entry to the premises concerned the male was found deceased, our thoughts are with his family.

There were no other incidents of note reported from this area.

A letter drop has been carried out at properties in this area.

19/12/2011.

An environmental survey has been carried out in this area. This looked at whether the street lighting was working and whether the area was clean and tidy. It was noted that there was a onsiderable amount of rubbish building up. DMBC will be liased with to clean this up.

patrols were carried oot from9am-11am and again from 2.30pm-3.30pm. during these patrols it was quiet and no issues were brought to our attention.

Confirmation receioved that DMBC will clear the rubbish as noted on the 19/12/2011.

30/12/2012.

Patrols have been carried out on 28th, 29th and also the 30th . There hasnt been many issues reported through these patrols.

06/01/2012.

Whilst carrying out patrols in this area a PCSo came across a bruglary in progress. Unfortunetly the known offender made their escape and is currently being sought by the police.

07/01/2012.

From our records and since 15/12/11 there have only been 4 incidents ASB reported from this street and 2 of them from the same address. When officers attended this address the complainant refused to name the offenders stating that she had spoke to parents of those involved and didnt want Police to deal with the youths.

17/01/2012.

So far this weeks warrants have been executed at the following locations-

East lane-For stolen good although nothing found.

Haigh Crescent-for drugs although nothing found.

Station road-For drugs although nothing found.

Church road-For stolen goods-a small amount of cannabis was found and occupant fined £80.

Bootham crescent-For drugs although nothing was found.

A DRUGS WARRANT HAS BEEN EXECUTED ON EAST LANE . SMALL QUANTITIES OF CANNABIS WERE FOUND. 1 MALE WAS ISSED A CAUTION WHILST A FURTHER MALE WAS REPORTED ON SUMMONS FOR DRUG OFFENCES.

This area is part of the neighbourhood Alliance area and the following results have been recorded by SYP as a result of operations in the pasty13 days.

8 warrants executed for drugs and handling stolen goods.

4 fixed penalty noties of £80 issued for possession of cannabis.

1 machette recovered.

1 male reported on summons for drug offences.

1 cannabis warning issued.

2 males arerested for failing to appear at court.

4 arrested for non payment of fine warrants.

24 drivers dealt with for speeding offences.#

29 person searches for drugs and stolen property.

19 ABC referrals made.

1 ADM 171s issued

2 crimes dealt with by means of resorative justice.

1 male cautioned for public order offence.

1 male arrested for breach of his ASBP and possesion of a class b drug.

6 vehicles seized for not having insurance.

6 drivers fined for not having insurance.

1 driver prosecuted for having no MOT.

1 driver given a £500 fine for using red diesel.

 

ASB has reduced in this area and further results will follow.

Area officers carried out patrols in this area from 7th March to 16th March with nothing being reported to them However during these patrols they issued 2 fines for littering, a letter to a resident with a dirty garden. had dumped rubbish removed and liased with 20 youths.

a post neighbourhood doors step consultation was carried out today to establish whether local residents had seen and improvement in the area. The results will be published once all addresses have been visited.

Patrols carried out throughout the shift, no issues reported. There was an increased Policing presence due to a large funeral. officers visited all licensed premises an all were happy with the increased Police presence.

Officers from the fire arms unit stopped a vehicle that was being driven without insurance. The driver was reported on summons and his vehicle seized by SYP.

At the PACT meeting held on 02/05/2012 it was agreed that this should be filed as there has been a big improvement in the incidents in this area. SYP and partners will maintain patrols in this area on a daily basis as part of normal duties.
