What issues concerned you most in your area
During the latest PACT meeting on Friday 13th January Speeding Vehicles on Grange Lane Burgwallis was added as a local priority.
Based on the success of making motorists aware of their speed on Sutton Road in Askern the same principals will be transferred to this new location. Regular updates will be published very soon.
8th February 2012
Today, officers from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team conducted speeding checks using the new state of the art hand held speed guns. Officers were in Burgwallis for one and a half hours and checked over 50 vehicles. Out of these 50 vehicles none were found to be over the permitted speed limits although on first sight some of the vehicles were perceived to be travelling too fast when in fact they were not.
