Problem parking issues outside alll schools in Askern and Norton.
At school drop off and pick up times parking problems occur.
Joint patrols have been made in and around the schools at the busy times. This has had the effect of no parking or obstruction issues. Parking enforcement Officers have also been requested to pay periodic checks

The council teams patrolled on 6 seperate occaisions, the Police patrolled a further 5. On some of these visits both school staff and parents were spoken to with no issues identified.

Since the return to school officers from both the council and the police have partolled the junior schools on a regular basis. During these patrols no parking issues have been seen or reported.

Regular patrols around the schools have been made over the past weeks and no parking issues have been seen or raised to the patrolling officers.
Easter Holidays
Obviously the schools are closed over this period, but the patrols in the area as can be seen that there has been no reported problems or indiscretions. But we will remain in contact with the school to ensure the problems do not start up again
