what issues concerned you most in your area
At several public meetings concern has been raised about the gathering of youths on the Campsall Country Park
The numbers of youths gathering on the park late at night
There are a number of youths that use the park in a sensible manner and respecting others and residents. However concern has been raised with youths using the park late evening and the anti social behaviour of them.

August 2011
We have held several operations over the month including a district operation STAYSAFE, where we partner up with social services, youth services and other agencies who specifically engage with the youth of today. The numbers we have met in this area have been positive. Whilst we have not identified youths with alcohol, we still have several reports. We have conducted several test purchase operations and as a result have given advice to several public houses about serving under age.
Please if you see a problem at this location please ring the police so we can try and identify any offences and offenders.
JULY 2011
The Safer Neighbourhood Team would like to report that due to a robust stance on anti social behaviour there has been a significant drop in reports of anti-social behaviour and underage drinking in and around Campsall Country Park and Warren House Park. Over the past 2 weeks students have been out partying and celebrating leaving school and have congregated on the Parks. Over this time some alcohol was taken and referrals sent to our partner organisations but on the whole their behaviour has been acceptable.
JUNE 2011
Regular evening patrols of the area have had positive results and a significant reduction of alcohol related incidents have been reported. The Safer Neighbourhood Team will continue to actively patrol the park on a regular basis and we would ask that the public continue to advise us of any incidents concerning underage drinking.
UPDATE May 2011
Over the past few weeks the local Safer Neighbourhood Team has flooded Campsall Country Park on Friday and Saturday evenings and have dealt with the problems robustly by taking youngsters home and confiscating any alcohol found.
The Safer Neighbourhood Team has also been working closely with Custom and Excise and have made joint visits to local Off Licences in relation to the selling of cheap alcohol and illegal counterfeit tobacco , the work continues.
