Anti Social Behaviour by Youths on the Trafalgar Estate Carcroft

Two "Domehawk" cameras have been placed in the area, one on Trafalgar House and one on Trafalgar Street. These camera's have been deployed in areas of anti social behaviour in the past and have proved to be an effective deterrent. These capture video images that can be down loaded and used as evidence in the court room if required.
Further foot and cycle patrols in the area. One juvenile was arrested for swearing and being abusive in the street and has now been charged for court
A further 26 council patrols took place in and around the estate with no offences or behaviour problems identified.

Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team have been making regular day and night dedicated patrols of the Trafalgar Estate and since the beginning of January there have been no calls made to the police with regard to Anti-Social behaviour. We will continue to monitor the situation and discuss this priority at the next PACT meeting

This is a priority as there have been reports to both Police and Council and residents are feeling intimidated by the amount of youths hanging around and causing a nuisance.

Local SNT officers have made daily patrols of the area and nothing of note has been seen or reported. We will continue to monitor the situation.
