We asked:

At the last PACT meeting, what issues concerned you most in your area

The PACT (Partners And Communities Together) meeting for your area is held on the first Thursday of the month from 6pm at Pakistani Advice Centre, Page Hall Road.  This is your chance to meet members of your safer neighbourhood team and discuss issues that concern you and the area in which you live, and be a part of the tasking process for both the Police, and our partners who are also invited to the meeting to discuss issues that may not be a Policing matter.

In Page Hall, in particular Lloyd Street, Wade Street and Popple Street, there are people congregating, causing fires, dropping litter and urinating in the street. This generally occurs in the late afternoon and evening. There is also an issue where motor vehicles are turning right from Popple Street into Hinde Street contrary to Left Turn signs.

The Police teams in the area had tremendous support from the residents in relation to this ongoing priority. We continue to invest resources into the area, especially uniformed patrol services who provide you with some confidence in the streets of Page Hall and Fir Vale.

There are also extensive ongoing planning meetings to arrange engagement activities throught the Spring and Summer period with our partners, including Activity Sheffield, Sheffield council and south Yorkshire Fire and Rescue
