Update August 2011:
A number of tenants in this street have been warned and their tenancies reduced as a result of complaints in the area. One tenant was evicted for continued anti-social behaviour. A general meeting of local tenants was held with local SNT and issues discussed and resolved.

We are working in conjunction with Berneslai homes to try and resolve this matter.

Each and every resident in the affected area of Halifax Street was visited and spoken to by Police Officers, Community Officer or Council Staff. From this the catylyst for this increased police presence were identified and two of the residents have had tenancies reduced and warned to kerb there anti-social bahaviour.

Patrols in the area have increased and residents spoken to on attendance. The problems have reduced, and certainly yhe number of police and ambulance call outs.
