Anti-Social Behaviour at Strata Park and Carrfield Park
The problem on Strata Park is ASB and Criminal Damage to the fencing. Carrfield Park is noise complaints and vehicles being driven around the park throughout the evening.
Problems at Strata Park have reduced considerably and the instance of indecent exposure has not reoccurred.
Patrols around Strata Park will continue throughout the next two months. Youths and Adults who are socialising there peacefully are welcomed however Dearne Safer Neighbourhood Team will act swiftly against people committing Anti-Social or Criminal behaviour.
Regular patrols have been conducted to eliminate the problem. Patrols are continuing. Only those who commit offences need worry. Updated - 1st August 2010
Local residents have been spoken with regarding the issues and they informed us how quiet the park has been recently, and that it is nice to see the younger children using the park for it's correct purpose.
Complaints had been received regarding scooters parking up and sounding their horns, creating noise. Officers attended the location, advised the riders and moved them from the area.
