This is your chance to meet members of your safer neighbourhood team and discuss issues that concern you and the area in which you live, and be a part of the tasking process for both the Police, and our partners who are also invited to the meeting to discuss issues that may not be a Policing matter.
At the last meeting, criminal damage and number plate theft were a concern on and around Crabtree Road. There have been a number of reported incidents of late.

- Continued high visibility foot and cycle patrols
- Stop and account 1 persons believed to be involved in criminal activity
- Gather and act upon intelligence in relation to specific times of occurrences
- We have liaised with partner agencies
- distributed leaflets advising vigilance and encouraging reporting of suspicious persons .

Patrol Activity
- We have stop and accounted/searched person in the street
- We have issued tickets for various traffic related offences
- We have issued Parking Advisory Notice’s
- We have identified vulnerable vehicles and sent letters to the owners,
- We continue to identify young people causing anti social behaviour and send letters to their parents (PAL Letter).
- We carry out regular parking operations to tackle problems at Osgathorpe mosque
- We carry out regular parking operations to tackle problems at primary schools.
- We have reported vehicles to the DVLA for having no road tax.
- We issue warning to a person using a vehicle in a nuisance manner. We have seized vehicle for driving in an antisocial manner.
- We have issued street cautions for possession of cannabis
- We continue Operation KP Wider where we aim to reduce off road motorcycle incidents
- Where possible we will attempt to resolve disputes/incidents with engaging the offenders in Restorative Justice.
- We have advised a male re his dangerous dog
Community Engagement
- We have attended the Firshill TARA meeting.
- We attend a regular 'Drop In' session at the Sheffield Homes offices.
- We hold a regular 'Drop In' at Firshill TARA.
- We hold a regular 'Drop In' at Carwood TARA office.
- Attended Tesco, Barnsley Rd on various occasions to interact with staff and public to raise awareness
- We regularly visit Pitsmoor Adventure Playground. 16/08
- We conduct regular visits to Pathways Children’s Home
- We regularly visit Byron Wood School
- We regularly attend the Woodside project to engage with staff and residents.
- We have attended the Carwood TARA meeting, 02/08, 09/08, 16/08
- We have meet with the local scout group.
- We attended the Somali Communtiy Centre
- We engaged with Earl Marshall guest house and Glastonbury guest house
- We have worked with partner agencies to provide engagement activities for young people (Street Based Teams) in Burngreave in the evenings.
- Attended and assisted with the Hindu festival on buckenham street
