8th December 2011 - At the PACT meeting held this evening, residents were given information about vehicle crime that has occurred in recent weeks on the estate - on the streets listed and immediately surrounding. Crime reduction advice was given to residents, about securing vehicles appropriately and not leaving items on display. It was agreed to adopt this as a priority.
9th December 2011 - PCSO Hamill and Sgt Clark carried out foot patrols on the estate this evening. Attention was paid to parked and unattended vehicles left with property on view. 6 vehicle owners were spoken to and advised about items that were seen. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the estate overnight and no incidents were reported or discovered.
10th December 2011 - PC Lightfoot carried out patrols of the estate this evening. PCSO Fletcher and PCSO Turton also carried out checks of unattended vehicles for items on left on display. 2 owners were spoken to and given advice.

Reports received of several vehicles being entered overnight with no damage to any of the vehicles, on Reeves Way a Mini was entered, the vehicle was searched and a Sat-Nav stolen, on Harris Road a Peugeot was entered and searched with nothing stolen, on Walstow Crescent a Nissan was entered and searched, a pair of sunglasses were reported stolen, on Jenkinson Grove a Vauxhall was entered and searched with nothing being stolen.
15th December 2011 - Armthorpe SNT officers patrolled the estate, paying attention to vehicles that were parked and unattended. Nothing was reported to South Yorkshire Police.
16th December 2011 - A blue coloured Citroen Relay van was stolen from an address in Barton Lane overnight. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the vehicle. PCSO Hamill, PCSO Fletcher, PCSO Turton and Area Officer (DMBC) Debbie Ward carried out a letter drop to around 500 homes on the estate this morning. This seeks to highlight the recent spate of thefts from vehicles and to alert owners to secure them properly.
17th and 18th December 2011 - Patrols were carried out by Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team and patrol officers from South Yorkshire Police. Officers stopped and checked the occupants of a Renault Megane car in Reeves Way on Saturday night, containing persons of interest to Police. Nothing was found. Residents are asked to continue their vigilance for any suspicious behaviour.
19th December 2011 - PCSO Hamill and PC Lightfoot carried out foot and mobile patrols of the estate during the day today. 4 vehicles were found in a vulnerable state with property on show. The owners were advised accordingly. No incidents were reported or discovered.

21st December 2011 - PCSO Hamill and PC Lightfoot carried out foot patrols of the estate today. No incidents were reported or discovered. Overnight patrols were also carried out by patrol officers and Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.
22nd December 2011 - PCSO Hamill and Area Officer (DMBC) Debbie Ward carried out foot and mobile patrols of the estate today. Attention was paid to parked and unattended vehicles for any signs of vulnerability. During the evening, a free standing garage was broken into on Park Avenue, Armthorpe. A quantity of tools were stolen. Later in the evening evening, officers on patrol saw a Vauxhall car being pushed along the same street. One of the males pushing the vehicle ran off from officers. One male was arrested on suspicion of theft of the car. Enquiries are ongoing. A garage was broken into in Evans Court overnight. Enquiries are being made.

6th January 2012 - Three reports were recieved from overnight activity, on Twigg Crescent a burglary was reported where the keys were stolen from the property and a Peugeot 307 was stolen. A Nissan Note was entered on Wakelam Drive and a purse stolen, this was recovered and returned to the owner with all contents still inside. On Evans Court a report was received of a Peugeot 200 being entered and searched, nothing was stolen. Patrols conducted by the Safer Neighbourhood Team.

A report was received of 2 males in the area, this was plain clothed officers conducting their patrols.

14th and 15th January 2012 - Patrols were carried out by Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team over the weekend. On Sunday evening, the owner of a Mazda 6 living in Harris Road disturbed offenders trying to break in to his car. They made off when challenged by the owner.

Plain clothes patrols were also carried out on the estate overnight. Overnight, a Volkswagen Passat was entered in Walstow Crescent. The same evening, a Honda Civic was entered in Wakelam Drive and a Sat Nav was stolen.

31st January 2012 - PC Lightfoot patrolled the estate this afternoon, checking for vulnerable and unattended vehicles. Overnight, a Sat Nav was stolen from an Audi A3 in Jenkinson Grove. No damage was caused to the vehicle but the owner reports that it was locked and secure.
1st February 2012 - PCSO Hamill carried out foot patrols of the estate today. Checks were made for vulnerable vehicles and 3 were identified. No incidents were reported or discovered.
2nd February 2012 - At the PACT meeting held today, residents were updated about this priority. In view of the continuing issues with vehicle crime on the estate, it will remain as a priority. During the day today, a young male was arrested in Doncaster Road after being seen near to the scene of a burglary to a house. Enquiries are being made. No other incidents were reported. Plain clothes officers and patrols were in the area overnight and checking for suspicious activity.
3rd February 2012 - Sgt Clark and PCSO Hamill carried out foot patrols on the estate today. Checks were once again made for unattended and vulnerable vehicles. 3 were identified. Plain clothes officers also patrolled the estate overnight and the surrounding area. No incidents were reported or discovered.
4th February 2012 - PCSO Hamill carried out foot patrols of the estate today. Checks were made for vulnerable vehicles and 2 were identified. No incidents were reported or discovered.
5th February 2012 -A Vauxhall Corsa was stolen overnight 5th-6th February from the residents parking area in Jenkinson Grove. Enquiries are ongoing
6th February 2012 -Plain colothes officers again carried out patrols of the estate overnight - no incidents were reported or suspicious activity noted.
7th February 2012 - Overnight a window to a Volvo was smashed in Wakelam Drive. A camera, bag and calculator were stolen. The same evening, a Mercedes was entered in Jenkinson Grove. No sign of forced entry was evident. An amount of cash was stolen from inside the vehicle.
8th February 2012 - Patrols of the estate we are carried out this afternoon by PC Lightfoot, PC Wood and PCSO Hamill. 5 vulnerable vehicles were identified. No incidents were reported. Checks were made on the home addresses of known offenders living in Armthorpe to ascertain their whereabouts and deter any potential criminality.
9th February 2012 - PC Lightfoot and PCSO Hamill carried out patrols of the estate today. During the evening, a burglary occurred in Edward Street. Safer Neighbourhood Team officers and patrol staff attended immediately and were able to detain two males seen hiding then running away. A stolen mobile phone was seized from one of the males along with a quantity of cannabis. Both males were arrested and are now being spoken to about these offences.
10th-12th February 2012 - Patrols carried out by PC Lightfoot and PCSO Hamill. 6 vulnerable vehicles were noted during this period. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the locality during the day and overnight. Encouragingly, no incidents were reported or discovered.
13th February 2012 - PCSO Hamill carried out foot patrols along with Doncaster Council Area Officer Debbie Ward. No offences were discovered or reported.
14th February 2012 - PCSO Hamill, PC Satterley and PC Wood carried out patrols and checks of the estate during the day and into the evening. Overnight patrols were also carried out by patrol staff and the Neighbourhood Response Team. Anti social behaviour was reported near to the park area, officers attended but there was no sign of anyone and no offences disclosed.
15th February 2012 - PCSO Hamill, PC Wood and Area Officer (DMBC) Debbie Ward carried out patrols of the locality today. An off road motorcycle operation was conducted today, utilising staff from our Road Traffic department on off road motorcycles. No incidents were reported or discovered. At 5pm, officers challenged two males in Reeves Way, seen walking up and down driveways to houses. It turned out that the males were wheelie bin cleaners, collecting money from clients. No other incidents were reported overnight.
16th February 2012 - Patrols were carried out today by PCSO Hamill. Overnight,a BMW 1 Series was entered in Harris Road by smashing a side window. A handbag was stolen from inside the vehicle. Despite numerous warnings and advice to local residents, people continue to leave possessions on show to opportunist thieves.
17-20th February 2012 - Patrols carried out by staff from Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team and patrol staff during the day and overnight.On the evening of 20th February, offenders attempted to gain entry to a locked garage in Reeves Way. The offenders caused damage to a wall as they left the scene when disturbed. Residents are asked to be vigilant for any suspicious activity and to ensure that garages and sheds are locked and secure.
21st February 2012 - Patrols were carried out by the Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team and Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team, nothing was seen or reported.
22nd February 2012 - Patrols carried out by PCSO Fletcher and PCSO Turton on the estate. Overnight a Saab was entered and searched, no damage caused to the vehicle, a laptop computer was stolen.
23rd February 2012 - Patrols were conducted on the estate by PCSO Fletcher and PCSO Turton. Nothing was seen or heard, no reports were received.
24-25th February 2012 -PC Lightfoot carried out patrols of the estate. At 20.15 hours on Friday evening, a suspicious male was reported by a resident, loitering near to parked cars in Jenkinson Grove. PC Lightfoot attended and checked a male who was waiting for friends. No ofences were disclosed.
26 & 27 February 2012 - Patrols were carried out by the Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team and Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team, nothing was seen. A report was received of a property on Reeves Way being left insecure, officers spoke to the occupant who was at work and stayed at the property until it was secured by the owner.
28th February 2012 - Patrols were carried out by the Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team and Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team, nothing was seen, nothing was reported.
29th February 2012 - PCSO Hamill carried out foot patrols today on the estate. Checks were made for vulnerable vehicles. No incidents were reported overnight, but plain clothes officers were once again on patrol.

3rd March 2012 - PCSO Hamill, PC Wood and PC Lightfoot carried out foot and cycle patrols of the estate today and during the evening. A group of young people were reported to be throwing a ball at house windows in Walstow Crescent. The officers attended but the group had already left. No other incidents were reported or discovered. An off road motorcycle operation was held today, involving Safer Neighbourhood Team officers - Police and Council, alongside staff from Environmental Health. A total of three formal notices were served on riders of motorcycles in the area - a precursor to their machines being seized by Police if they were seen again.

A resident complained about a group of young people being rowdy on the estate during the evening. Officers attended and made a search but nobody was located.
10th-11th March 2012 -Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the estate in a CCTV vehicle over the weekend. No incidents were discovered or reported.A local young male was arrested after a number of sheds were broken into in Armthorpe overnight. A sizeable amount of the stolen property was subsequently recovered.
12th March 2012 - PCSO Hamill carried out cycle patrols on the estate today. No incidents were reported or discovered

15th March 2012 - PCSO Hamill and PC Wood patrolled the area today. During the evening, two reports were received concerning young children lighting fires in the woods to the rear of Jenkinson Grove. Officers attended along with the Fire Service. No fire was located. Two other fires were started earlier in the day to shop premises in Mill Street, Armthorpe but minimal damage was caused. Residents are asked to be vigilant for any young people who may be starting fires or about to do so. No incidents were reported or discovered on the estate overnight.
16th March 2012 - Foot patrols were conducted by PCSO Turton and PCSO Telford, PCSO Hamill and PC Wood carried out cycle patrols of the estate today. A resident complained about the same group of young people mentioned above from the previous evening.
17th March 2012 -A resident of Reeves Way reported a male seen trying car doors at 2am this morning. The resident challenged this male who ran off. Officers attended and made a search but nobody was located. We are grateful for this residents vigilance and prompt action.
18th March 2012 - A resident of Wakelam Drive reports regular problems with youths congregating in the communal area to the flats. A used nappy was smeared over the door handle of the residents door. Patrols will monitor this location and residents are encouraged to report any problems as and when they occur.

4th April 2012 - A report was received about a vehicle being parked on Harris Road, on checking it is a residents vehicle and not causing an obstruction. Patrols were conducted by PC Satterley and PCSO Turton, a parking issue was dealt with on Evans Court.

26th April 2012 - PC Wood and PC Lightfoot patrolled the estate today. Area Officers from Doncaster Council also checked the play area for evidence of litter. The Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.
27th April 2012 - PCSO Fletcher carried out patrols of the estate this afternoon. No incidents were reported or discovered. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight, paying attention for any parked, unattended vehicles left in a vulnerable condition.
28th April 2012 - PCSO Fletcher patrolled the estate today. No incidents were reported and the area was quiet on each visit. No incidents occurred overnight
29th April 2012 - PC Lightfoot and PC Wood patrolled the estate this afternoon and also carried out checks of the former pit top site to look for off road motorcycles. The area was quiet on each visit and no incidents were reported.
30th-1st May 2012 - Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team officers patrolled the estate overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.
2nd May 2012 - PC Lightfoot, PC Wood and PCSO Hamill carried out repeat patrols of the estate during the afternoon and evening. No issues were noted or reported.
3rd May 2012 - At the PACT meeting held this evening, residents were updated about the priority. Offences have much reduced and it was agreed to archive this priority. Patrols will continue to be carried out as part of normal daily duties.
