Repeat instances of domestic and commercial waste being tipped at Holme Wood Lane, Armthorpe and Moor Lane, Kirk Sandall - identified from PACT meeting held on 3rd June 2010
Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team (Police and Doncaster Council) are to carry out extra patrols of these two locations with a view to gathering evidence and prosecuting those responsible. Cameras are being sourced for installation at these sites.
7th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the two locations today, no sign of recent fly tipping evident.Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled these areas as part of their directed patrols.
8th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the two locations during the day today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled during the evening and overnight. A quantity of waste was found dumped in Nottinghamshire Way, near to the junction with Holme Wood Lane. This will be examined and removed in due course. Two mounted officers also patrolled Holme Wood Lane on horses during the day.
9th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the two locations during the day today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled during the evening and overnight. A quantity of rubbish was discovered by officers at Holme Wood Lane. This has since been recovered for further investigation and a likely prosecution.

1st July 2010 -At the PACT meeting held this evening, it was decided to retain this priority into next month. A fire was found in Holme Wood Lane today at 1.20pm. The Fire Service attended. It was found to be a quantity of tyres and rubbish on fire. Environmental Health are making further enquiries. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. Mounted officers also patrolled during the evening on horseback.
