30th September 2010 - This priority was agreed at the PACT meeting held at Edenthorpe Community Centre this evening.

1st October 2010 - Request made to Doncaster Council regarding possibility of extra lighting column on footpath adjacent to Far Field Close.

2nd October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

10th October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. At 1.45am, a piece of concrete was thrown through a window to a house in Far Field Close, Edenthorpe. Further enquiries are being made into this incident. Any witnesses who heard or saw anything are asked to come forward and speak to Police.

11th October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

12th October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. Overnight 11th-12th October, a glass coca-cola bottle was thrown at a rear window to a house in Thorpehall Road, Kirk Sandall. It is believed this was thrown by someone using the field adjacent. No one was seen. Any witnesses are again asked to come forward. Further calls were received at 7.30pm from residents in Far Field Road, complaining about a large group of young people being rowdy, fighting and throwing Tesco shopping trolleys into fences. The group dispersed upon seeing Police arrive and officers spent an amount of time pursuing them around the estate. Neighbourhood Response Team patrols are to focus patrol activity in this location due to recent incidents.

13th October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. Further problems with groups of young people causing problems at Tesco supermarket were reported at 7.15pm. It was reported that this group were intimidating customers and interfering with shopping trolleys. Officers attended but the group had moved on. At 7.55pm, damage was caused to a fence on Far Field Close which backs onto the field. A group were seen running away. The Safer Neighbourhood Team are now reviewing CCTV footage

14th October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

15th October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality this afternoon and late evening. No incidents were reported or discovered concerning anti social behaviour. A large group of young people were spoken to outside Tesco supermarket at 9pm and advised about their conduct.  However, a number of offences have been committed in recent days involving theft from unattended motor vehicles. Specific locations have included Far Field Road, where an amber flashing beacon was stolen from a 4x4 vehicle, a TomTom satellite navigation system stolen from a car on Boulevard, cash and other personal effects stolen from three separate vehicles on Ecton Court and a coat stolen from a vehicle on Nunnington Way, Kirk Sandall. Enquiries are ongoing into all of these crimes, but a recurring theme is that property is being left on show. The public are advised to ensure that no personal belongings are left visible when parking your vehicle overnight. This would include cash, bags and coats, CD's etc. Also, ensure that satellite navigation systems are removed from the windscreen and taken into the house - don't leave the suction cups fitted to the windscreen either. If you have a garage, then the safest place for your vehicle is inside the garage overnight. Additional patrols are being carried out by Police and Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.

18th October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

19th October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

20th October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. At 8.20pm,  a complaint was made about a large group of young people in Far Field Road, reportedly taking drugs. Officers attended and the group had left. However, traffic cones and a number of Tesco shopping trolleys were found scattered around. Patrols continued to monitor the area for the remainder of the evening. No evidence of drug taking was found.

21st October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols in and around the locality today.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.  Nothing was seen or heard, no reports recieved.

22nd October 2010 - The Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols in and around the locality.  At 9:15pm a report of a window being damaged was received and attended by officers from the Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team within 3 minutes of receiving call, an area seach was conducted to no gain. A short time later they was a report of a car windscreen being damaged on Locksley Avenue, Edenthorpe by a group.

23rd October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols in and around the locality today.  Reports were received of a group of youths on Tesco Fields, possibly with  drugs and weapons.  Officers attended and searched all of the group, they had no drugs or weapons, nor evidence of any such articles found nearby. A report was received of a bin liner containing rubbish thrown into a garden on Edencroft Drive.

24th October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols in and around the locality today.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.  Nothing was reported, no anti-social behaviour was seen or heard.

25th October 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols in and around the locality today.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.  At 8:20pm a window was damaged on Thirlmere Gardens, Officers attended the scene, the offender/s had made off prior to Officers attending.

4th November 2010 - The Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team have carried out patrols in the area.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team. At 5.30pm, a complaint was made about a group of young people throwing eggs at a property in Far Field Close. A search was made but the group had already left. Patrols continued to monitor this overnight. No further incidents were reported.

5th November 2010 - The Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team have carried out patrols in the area.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.  Nothing was reported, no anti-social behaviour was seen or heard. 

6th November 2010 - The Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team have carried out patrols in the area.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.  A complaint was made by a resident of Far Field Close at 11.43pm about fireworks being set off near to the property. The group were reportedly drunk and taking photographs of each other. Patrols attended and a search was made. No youths were found but firework debris was located nearby. passing attention continued during the night.

10th November 2010 - The Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team have carried out patrols in the area.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.  Nothing was reported, no anti-social behaviour was seen or heard. 

11th November 2010 - The Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team have carried out patrols in the area.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.  At 5.25pm, officers attended in Thirlmere Gardens, Kirk Sandall to the report of several youths making a lot of noise and acting anti socially on Tesco fields. A search was made but nobody was found. No other incidents were reported or found.

12th November 2010 - The Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team have carried out patrols in the area.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.  Officers dealt with a large group of young people congregating outside Tesco supermarket who had been causing problems for staff and customers. The group had moved off when officers arrived and several were then spoken to on the fields to the rear of the supermarket. No other incidents were reported or found.

4th January 2011 - The Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team have carried out patrols in the area.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.  At 9pm, two separate complaints were made by residents of Far Field Road and Far Field Close, throwing objects at houses. A search was made for the group but nobody was found. No damage was caused. CCTV footage is being reviewed.

7th January 2011 - The Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team have carried out patrols in the area.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.  During the evening, officers stopped and dealt with a group of young people on Tesco fields, following a report of bricks and other missiles being thrown at the shelter situated in Kirk Sandall Infants School. No damage was discovered. Patrols continued in the locality for the remainder of the evening. No other incidents were reported or discovered.

15th January 2011 - The Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team have carried out patrols in the area.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.  At around 5am this morning, a resident of Far Field Close reported a milk bottle having been thrown at his patio windows.It is believed that those responsible have thrown this from the gennel which runs at the back of these houses. Enquiries are underway.

24th January 2011 - The Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team have carried out patrols in the area.  Patrols were also conducted by the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team.  Several incidents were reported this evening by residents living in Far Field Close. A number of fences were kicked and damage caused. Missiles were also thrown at windows. Enquiries are being made into these incidents. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the area in a CCTV vehicle for the remainder of the evening and overnight. Police are also making enquiries into two alleged assaults which occurred in Brecks Lane, Kirk Sandall. It is suspected that these incidents may be linked.

25th January 2011 - The Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team have carried out patrols in the area. Patrols were also conducted by Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team. A resident on Far Field Close reported damage to fencing panels in her garden. This had occurred the previous evening. Another resident reported lumps of concrete being thrown at the patio windows to a property in Far Field Close at 6.15pm. Officers attended and searched for the offenders but they had made off. One young male was arrested nearby after being found in possession of a lock knife. Officers are also making enquiries into reports of a vehicle being seen in Far Field Close during the day. It was reported that the occupants were seen to be filming properties in the street.

27th January 2011 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. A number of incidents were reported during the day and evening on Far Field Close. All of these are linked to the earlier incidents which took place on 24th January 2011. Police are continuing to make enquiries into the damage offences and assault allegations. CCTV footage and social networking sites are being examined. Patrols were carried out on the street overnight.

28th January 2011 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today, alongside staff from Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team. Officers attended to the report of a vehicle possibly being damaged in Edencroft Drive. No damage was subsequently found. A search was also made for a vehicle that was believed to be acting suspiciously in Far Field Close. No other incidents were reported or discovered.

29th January 2011 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today, alongside staff from Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team. Regular patrols were made on Tesco fields and around the Far Field Close area. A number of residents reported a large group of young people acting anti socially on the field during the evening. These were spoken to and challenged by officers. No incidents were reported overnight.

30th January 2011 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. Directed patrols were carried out on Tesco fields and Far Field Close by patrol officers and Safer Neighbourhood Team staff . A resident of Far Field Close reported to Police that a large group of young people were on the street causing a nuisance, being rowdy. Officers attended but the group had already gone and no offences were discovered.

31st January 2011 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. Directed patrols were carried out on Tesco fields and Far Field Close by patrol officers and Safer Neighbourhood Team staff . A resident of Far Field Road reported problems with a group of young people outside his home, drinking alcohol and being a nuisance. It was also reported that objects were being thrown at nearby properties. Officers attended and spoke with a group of young people nearby. Details were obtained and checks made for any offences. No reports of damage were received from people living locally.

Overnight, a group of youths were seen throwing an object at the front door to a property in Windermere Crescent. A lump of concrete was also thrown at a house in Far Field Close during the night. A complaint was made about a group of rowdy young people using the field adjacent to Tesco at 9pm. Officers made a search and dealt with a number of young people who were stood in the supermarket car park. Advice was given and the group was dispersed.

No incidents were reported. Patrols came across a bus that had been tampered with near Tesco's at Edenthorpe. A group of young people had switched the engine isolator switch off and then made off upon seeing Police. A number of young people were later spoken with and advised.

A number of young people were stopped and spoken to this evening about damage that was caused to several garden fences in Far Field Close. Enquiries are ongoing into this and a male youth will be formally interviewed on 6th March 2011.

At 9.30pm, a complaint was received about young people kicking at garden fences in Far Field Close. Officers attended and made a search but nobody was located and no damage found. Patrols continued overnight to monitor the area. There were no further incidents.

Two Police horses also patrolled the locality all evening. A number of young people were caught on the roof of Tesco supermarket, one of which had caused damage by falling through the roof. Albeit uninjured, this individual was issued with a fixed penalty notiuce for the damage caused to the roof. No other incidents were reported.

7th April 2011 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. Two Police horses also patrolled in the area all afternoon and evening. At the PACT meeting held this evening, residents were updated about recent activity and incidents. It was decided to retain this priority for a further month.

24th April 2011 - Foot patrols of the locality were carried out by Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team this afternoon. Checks were made of known hotspots for street drinking and anti social behaviour. The area was quiet on each visit and no incidents were reported.

25th April 2011 - Mobile patrols were carried out this evening and overnight by Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team in a CCTV vehicle. Regular checks were made of hotspots and the locality was quiet on each visit.

26th April 2011 - Foot patrols were carried out  by Community Support Officers during the day today. Checks were made for grafitti and litter in the estate surrounding Tesco fields. No incidents were reported.

27th April 2011 - Foot and mobile patrols were carried out by Community Support Officers this afternoon. A number of residents were seen and spoken with. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled the locality overnight and no incidents were discovered or reported.

28th April 2011 - Officers from Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out foot patrols during the afternoon. Checks were made for evidence of street drinking in hotspot locations for young people to congregate. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team carried out patrols on Tesco fields overnight. No issues were discovered or reported.

29th April 2011 - Patrol officers carried out mobile patrols at repeat times for the entire 24 hour period. No incidents were reported. Officers did not come across any problems during the shift. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team used their CCTV vehicle when patrolling the Tesco fields during the evening and overnight.

30th April 2011 - Mobile and foot patrols were carried out this afternoon and evening by PC Pescador-Smith and PCSO Hamill. Checks were made for evidence of street drinking and any evidence of anti social activity. Despite the warm weather, the area was found to be quiet on each visit. A small quantity of alcohol was seized from a group of young people during the evening and their details were taken. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team carried on with patrols overnight and no issues were discovered.

1st May 2011 - Sgt Clark from Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out mobile patrols this afternoon. Specific attention was paid to the hotspots for anti social behaviour and street drinking. Another warm day, but the area was quiet each time it was visited. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled the locality during the night.

2nd May 2011 - Patrol officers carried out mobile patrols during the day and overnight, checking hotspots and the perimeter of Tesco fields. Two sets of solar lights were stolen from a garden on Far Field Close overnight. This garden adjoins Tesco fields. Enquiries are ongoing.

3rd May 2011 - Patrol officers paid attention to the locality during the day and overnight. Checks were made during the night for prowlers and any suspicious activity. No incidents were reported or discovered.

4th May 2011 - PC Lightfoot, PCSO Turton and PCSO Fletcher carried out repeat mobile patrols of this area during the afternoon and evening. Particular attention was paid to Tesco fields and its perimeter. Checks were made for evidence of street drinking and presence of any large groups congregating in the alleyways and paths linking the field.

5th May 2011 - At the PACT meeting held this evening, residents were updated about this priority. In view of the improved situation and reduction in anti social activity, it was decided to finalise this priority. Patrols will of course continue to take place in this area. Further patrols utilising Police horses are also being planned.
