Research and development of the project is taking place.  Armthorpe SNT to patrol and deal accordingly with issues identified using appropriate partners as necessary.

High visibility patrols by PC's and PCSO's are being conducted in the area to deter any further offending behaviour and identify any offenders.

Commencing Jan 2010

High visibility patrols conducted throughout the estate, large amounts of rubbish noted and reported to St Leger and DMBC. Litter pick organised. No reports of anti social behaviour or criminal damage.

An Operation was conducted in February, particular attention was paid to the Calm Estate and Hatfield Lane, monitoring anti social behaviour and nuisance youths. All was well presented and with no reports of damage or anti social behaviour. 

There has been a 55% reduction in criminal damage to vehicle figures.  This could be the result of the School Liaison Officer visiting the Comprehensive School and speaking to pupils with regards to Criminal Damage and the impact this has on the community and high visibility patrols in the area.

 1st April 2010 - At the PACT meeting this evening, residents were updated about progress against this priority. Mention was made of the recent conviction of 4 local young people in relation to damage to a motor vehicle on the estate. A number of young people have also been dealt with recently for anti social behaviour and referred via the ABC+ system for early intervention. The ABC+ scheme is designed as a way to try and channel young people away from crime and anti social activity, plus it also acts as a precursor to more formal sanctions such as an Anti Social Behaviour Order. Efforts will be made to install temporary Domehawk CCTV cameras in this area within the near future. This will enable us to positively identify the small minority who are causing problems in the area and deal with them positively.

3rd April 2010 - Foot and mobile patrols carried out this afternoon and evening by Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team. The locality was found to be quiet on each visit and no incidents were reported.

4th April 2010 - Foot and mobile patrols carried out this afternoon and evening by Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team. A number of complaints were received about off road motorcycle nuisance on the fields surrounding Armthorpe Comprehensive School. A search was made by officers but the motorcycles had already made off. Residents are asked to continue reporting instances where this occurs. Any information as to the identity of the riders/owners of these motorcycles will be acted upon.

7th April 2010 - Foot and mobile patrols were carried out this evening by Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team. Repeat visits were made throughout the entire estate. The locality was quiet on each visit and no incidents were reported.

8th April 2010 -Foot and mobile patrols were carried out this evening by Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team. The estate was found to be quiet and no incidents were reported. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team (NRT) also carried out mobile patrols this evening with their CCTV equipped vehicle. They spoke with a group of young people on the estate. A quantity of alcohol was taken from a fourteen year old female. Follow up enquiries are being made into this individual.

9th April 2010 - Mobile patrols carried out this evening by Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team. Frequent checks were made of known hotspot locations for anti social behaviour and the locality was found to be quiet on each visit. Routine patrols were also made near to local off licences to check for possible under age sales and consumption of alcohol contrary to the DPPO (Designated Public Place Order).

10th and 11th April 2010 - Mobile patrols were carried out during the evening and overnight by Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team. The locality was quiet and no issues were reported.

12th April 2010 - Foot patrols were carried out by Police Community Support Officers during the day today. No incidents were reported and the area was quiet on each visit.

13th April 2010 - Foot patrols carried out by Police Community Support Officers during the day today. The area was quiet on each visit. A number of complaints have been received this evening about anti social behaviour in Almond Avenue. This involves young people being noisy in the street and kicking footballs against residents properties. The Safer Neighbourhood Team will monitor this and residents are asked to continue reporting issues as and when they occur. Any details of those responsible will be acted upon.

14th April 2010 - Foot patrols carried out by Police Community Support Officers. No incidents were reported and the locality was quiet on each visit.

15th April 2010 - Foot patrols carried out by Police Community Support officers during the day. Further problems were reported in Almond Avenue overnight, due to young people being noisy and kicking a football against the wall of properties. Residents are asked to report such issues at the time they occur and not to delay contacting the Police. Additionally, the Fire Service were required to attend in Almond Avenue to extinguish a fire within a refuse skip. Residents are asked to contact us with any information about those responsible.

16th April 2010 - Foot patrols carried out during the day on the estate. Doncaster Council Community Safety Wardens have been carrying out a letter drop on the estate today, to remind residents to put their wheelie bins away after they have been emptied. The Safer Neighbourhood Team, working alongside the Fire service are looking to reduce an increasing number of wheelie bin fires on the estate. To reduce this risk, residents are asked to secure their bins on collection.  

17th April 2010 - Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team carried out patrols overnight and no incidents were reported.

19th April 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out foot patrols of the estate this afternoon and evening. Enquiries are being made into those responsible for causing recent damage to trees and gardens in Lime Tree Avenue. Enquiries are being made into those responsible for causing damage to a parked Skoda car in Lime Tree Avenue which was attacked overnight (18th-19th). The vehicle is extensively damaged. Residents are asked to come forward with any information about those responsible for this crime.

20th April 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out foot patrols of the estate this afternoon and evening. The locality was quiet on each patrol visit.

21st April 2010 - Police Community Support Officers carried out foot and mobile patrols of the estate during the afternoon and evening. A number of young people were spoken to after complaints were received about them climbing scaffolding in Chestnut Avenue. All of these young people have been identified and appropriate advice given. Referrals have also been made to the ABC+ Team within Doncaster Council for follow up action.

22nd April 2010 - Police Community Support Officers carried out foot and mobile patrols of the estate during the afternoon and evening. A noisy party being held within a property in Chestnut Avenue attracted our attention. Advice was given to the occupants. The tenant of this St Leger Homes property will be receiving a joint visit from us and St Leger Homes in due course.

23rd April 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out foot and mobile patrols of the estate this afternoon and evening. No anti social behaviour was found and no incidents reported. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled the area overnight and the locality was quiet.

24th April 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out mobile patrols of the estate during the day and Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team did likewise overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

25th April 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out mobile patrols of the estate during the day and Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team did likewise overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

26th April 2010 - Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team carried out mobile patrols during the evening and overnight. No incidents were discovered and the locality was quiet on each visit.

27th April 2010 - Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team carried out mobile patrols during the evening and overnight. No incidents were discovered and the locality was quiet on each visit.

28th April 2010 -Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out foot and mobile patrols of the estate during the day today. No anti social behaviour was discovered. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled during the evening and overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered in this immediate area, although at 8.45pm, officers advised a group of young people who had climbed on top of the garages in Larch Drive. The group were dispersed from the area.

29th April 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out foot and mobile patrols of the estate today. No anti social behaviour was evident or reported. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team (NRT) also patrolled overnight. No incidents were discovered or reported.

30th April 2010 -Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out foot and mobile patrols during the afternoon and evening, alongside Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team. No incidents were reported and no anti social behaviour was evident.

1st May 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out mobile patrols this afternoon and evening. Officers attended the same address in Lime Tree Avenue,Armthorpe on two separate occasions during the late afternoon. A settee had been set alight in the garden of this property. The householder and guests were having a party in the garden. South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue had been called on both occasions after concerns from local residents. The fire was assessed and deemed under control, although the householder was strongly advised to consider her neighbours. The tenant was advised to dampen the fire and turn down the music. A follow up visit will be carried out by the Safer Neighbourhood Team and St Leger Homes.Patrols of the estate were made throughout the afternoon and evening. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team  and Environmental Health Officers have been asked to pay particular attention to the above address and locality over this bank holiday weekend

2nd May 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols this afternoon and into the evening. Checks were made of hotspots throughout the estate. No anti social behaviour was discovered or  reported. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also carried out patrols overnight and no incidents were reported or discovered.

No incidents were reported or discovered. 4 mounted officers also carried out patrols on the estate this afternoon

6th May 2010 - At the Community meeting held this evening at Armthorpe Community Centre, residents were updated about progress against this priority. It was agreed to retain this priority into next month. At 10pm this evening, a complaint was made about young people climbing onto the scaffolding in Chestnut Avenue. A search was made by Police Officers but the group had already left. Further checks were made later on in the evening and overnight by Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team. 2 mounted officers also patrolled the estate this afternoon and evening

7th May 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols this afternoon and evening. A further complaint was made at 8pm about young people climbing onto the scaffolding in Chestnut Avenue. Officers attended straight away but nobody was found. Further checks were made overnight by Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team but the locality was quiet. No other incidents were reported or discovered. 2 mounted officers again patrolled the estate this afternoon and evening.

8th May 2010 - Patrols were carried out by Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team this evening and overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

9th May 2010 - Patrols were carried out by Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team this evening and overnight. Police attended in Chestnut Avenue at 1.20am after reports were received about a party getting out of hand. The residents were spoken to, advice was given and one male requested to leave. A verbal warning was issued regarding the noise nuisance.

10th May 2010 -Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out foot and mobile patrols of the estate today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

11th May 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols during the day today. Two separate complaints were received from residents in Almond Avenue in the early evening. This concerned young people playing football in the street. Police Community Support officers attended and advised a group after the first report at 4pm. Further advice will be given to the young people who were named as being involved later in the evening at 6pm. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the locality overnight and no incidents were reported or discovered.

12th May 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols during the day today. Complaints were received from residents in Chestnut Avenue, Armthorpe at 10pm. Young people were climbing onto the scaffolding which is currently installed in the street. Officers attended but the group had already left prior to our arrival. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight and no incidents were reported or discovered.

13th May 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols during the day today. At 3.45pm, a resident reported that a group of young people were smashing the windows to an unoccupied property in Maple Grove, Armthorpe. Officers attended immediately and the group had already left. A downstairs front window had been smashed. Boarding up were requested. Residents are thanked for reporting this incident and asked to be vigilant for any further activity at the address. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team carried out patrols overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

14th May 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out foot patrols of the estate today. At 5.20pm a resident in Chestnut Avenue complained about young people playing football at the back of their address. It was said that this group were constantly climbing over fencing to retrieve the ball. Patrol officers attended but the group had already left. At 7.20pm another resident in Almond Avenue complained about a group of young people playing football outside his house. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team attended immediately. A number of young people were spoken to but none were playing football.

15th May 2010 - Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team carried out patrols during the evening and overnight. A resident of Maple Grove complained about youth nuisance at 9.50pm. It was alleged that a group of young people were banging against a garden fence and being rowdy. Patrol officers attended but the group had already left. Patrols continued overnight and no further incidents were discovered or reported.

16th May 2010 - Patrols were carried out by Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team during the afternoon and evening, alongside staff from Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team. No incidents were reported or discovered.

17th May 2010 - Patrols were carried out by Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team during the afternoon and evening. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

18th May 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out foot and mobile patrols of the locality this afternoon and evening.  At 9pm this evening, a complaint was made about young people playing football in Almond Avenue, Armthorpe. When challenged by a resident, it is alleged that the group were abusive to the resident. Patrol officers attended immediately and found a group of children, all of whom were under ten years. They were strongly advised and told to move away from the area. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled overnight and no incidents were reported or discovered.

19th May 2010 - Police Community Support Officers from Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team patrolled the estate this afternoon and evening. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered. Residents are asked to be vigilant for anyone supplying alcohol to local young people from the estate. Aside from the fact that this is irresponsible, it is also an offence, contrary to the Designated Public Place Order which is currently in force throughout Armthorpe. It is an offence to consume alcohol in any public place.

20th May 2010 -  Police Community Support Officers from Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team patrolled the estate this afternoon and evening. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

21st May 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out foot and mobile patrols of the estate today. At 2pm, two complaints were made about a male riding a quad bike up and down Chestnut Avenue. A search was made for the male and the bike but it had left the area. Any information about this individual and the bike will be acted upon. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled the estate overnight and no incidents were reported or discovered. Two Domehawk cameras have now been installed in Almond Avenue, Armthorpe in response to recent incidents of anti social behaviour. These will be utilised to gather evidence against those responsible for acting anti socially.

22nd May 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

23rd May 2010 - Sgt Clark and PC Satterley from Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate this afternoon and evening. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also carried out repeat patrols overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

24th May 2010 - Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled during the evening and overnight. No incidents were discovered or reported.

25th May 2010 - Police Community Support Officers from Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols during the day today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

2nd June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols this afternoon and evening. At 11.15pm a complaint was made by a resident living in Almond Avenue, Armthorpe. It was reported that unknown persons were throwing objects against the window of the residents house. Police attended but nobody was found and no damage had been caused. Patrols continued in the area overnight.

3rd June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate this afternoon and evening. A search was made for an off road bike in Lime Tree Avenue at 11.30pm, following complaints from a resident. The bike and its rider were not located. Further patrols were carried out by Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team. At the PACT meeting held at Edenthorpe Community Centre this evening, it was decided to retain this priority into next month.

4th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols this afternoon and evening. No incidents were reported or discovered. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

5th June 2010 - Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled during the evening and overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

6th June 2010 - Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled during the evening and overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

7th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. Mounted officers also patrolled the area on horses during the day.At 9.30pm, complaints were received from residents in Almond Avenue concerning people playing football in the street and the ball hitting house windows. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the area during the evening and overnight.

8th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols today. No incidents were reported or discovered. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered. Two mounted officers patrolled the estate today on horses. Patrols were also carried out in Basil Avenue, Ruskin Drive, Cow House Lane, Bevre Road, Walbank Road, following mention of anti social behaviour at last weeks PACT meeting. One male was dealt with whilst on patrol for possession of a small amount of cannabis for personal use. This individual was issued with a cannabis warning.

9th June 2010 -Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate during the day today. No incidents were reported or discovered. A meeting took place in Almond Avenue with a  number of residents to discuss the ongoing complaints about people playing football in the street. This is an issue for residents due to the noise and potential for damage when the ball hits windows of properties in the street. Complaints are also being received about young people scaling the scaffolding currently erected in the street, to allow decency works to be carried out on properties.Sgt Clark from Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team, Alan Cunningham, Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Manager and Alan Hindson, Housing Manager for St Leger Homes discussed possible solutions to the problem. The Domehawk cameras are now operational and will allow us to identify those responsible for anti social behaviour. St Leger Homes have agreed to install fencing in different locations, and reinstate a bollard which will prevent vehicle access onto the grassed area. A washing/drying area for residents will also be reinstated which will, in itself, deter games being played outside residents homes. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight and no incidents were reported or discovered.

10th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team patrolled the estate today. At 4.10pm, a complaint was made by a resident in Chestnut Avenue, concerning young people once again playing football in the street. This was causing annoyance to residents. Officers attended and spoke with a number of young people. Football wasn't being played at the time, but suitable advice was given.

11th June 2010 - Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the estate during the evening and overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

13th June 2010 - Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the estate during the evening and overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

14th June 2010 - Two Police vehicles used by Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team have been damaged between 11 June and 7am this morning. The windscreens to both vehicles have been smashed whilst parked in the grounds of Armthorpe Comprehensive School, where the Safer Neighbourhood Team are based.. Scenes of Crime Officers have examined both vehicles and CCTV cameras are being checked. Anyone with any information is asked to come forward and speak with the Safer Neighbourhood Team. Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols this afternoon and evening. At 9pm, officers were called to deal with young people playing football in the street on Almond Avenue. Advice was also given to a number of young people about their conduct in Laurel Road. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled during the evening and overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

15th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. A search was made for a group allegedly roaming around Almond Avenue at 7.20pm, one of whom was carrying a knife. Officers attended and made a search and a group made off upon seeing the Police vehicle. No knife was located. No further incidents were discovered or reported.

16th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. At 8.30pm, a resident complained about young people playing football in Lime Tree Avenue, near to parked cars. The group were rude to the resident when challenged. Officers attended, but were delayed due to a major incident at Harworth (industrial fire) which required a large amount of resources. The group had dispersed by the time officers eventually attended. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled overnight. A group were advised about sitting on a residents wall in Beech Road, Armthorpe and moved on. No further incidents were reported or discovered.

17th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. A resident in Almond Avenue has had his vehicle damaged overnight. A quantity of nails were found embedded into the vehicle tyres. Residents are asked to come forward with any information about who may be responsible for this crime. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the estate overnight. No further incidents were reported or discovered.

18th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. At 4.50pm, officers attended in Maple Grove, Armthorpe, following a complaint about young people scaling the scaffolding in the street. A group of young people made off from officers upon seeing the Police vehicle,. No individuals were found on the scaffolding. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the estate overnight. No further incidents were reported or discovered.

21st June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. Further complaints were made at 8.45pm and 10.20pm, concerning young people climbing the scaffolding in Maple Grove, Armthorpe. Officers attended and a group made off upon Police arrival. A number of this group were named and identified. The Safer Neighbourhood Team will be following up on this with these individuals. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the estate overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

22nd June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

23rd June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. Officers were called twice to an address in Chestnut Avenue, Armthorpe following complaints about rowdy behaviour and excessive noise. A party was taking place and a number of the guests had allegedly refused to leave. Advice was given and a number of people were asked to leave. No further incidents were reported or discovered. At 8pm, Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team officers advised a group of young people in Beech Road, Armthorpe who were drinking alcohol. Some were also observed kicking a football against properties in Almond Avenue. Advice was given and the group requested to move on. A number of this group will be dealt with by the Safer Neighbourhood Team as a result of their overall attitude and behaviour. CCTV footage has been obtained by the Council officers.

24th June 2010 -Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. Officers were once again called to Maple Grove at 5.30pm, following complaints about youths playing football in the street. These had made off when officers arrived a short time later. A number of names have been put forward for further intervention. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No further incidents were reported or discovered.

25th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. A number of officers jointly patrolled with staff from Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team in their CCTV equipped vehicle. Checks were made of the hotspots within the estate throughout the evening and overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

30th June 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out foot patrols of the estate today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled during the evening and overnight. Mounted officers also patrolled the estate on horseback during the day. Officers attended an address in Almond Avenue at 10pm, following complaints from a resident. An argument had taken place between the resident and a number of other male youths. The incident was rung in an hour after it had occurred. Advice was given to the resident and the area was monitored overnight.

1st July 2010 -At the PACT meeting held this evening, it was decided to retain this priority into next month. Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols during the afternoon and evening, in company with officers from Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team. Mounted officers also patrolled on horseback during the afternoon and evening. Officers attended in Maple Grove at 10.30am following complaints about young people scaling the scaffolding in the street. No young people were found.

At 6pm, officers dealt with a complaint about youths climbing onto the scaffolding in Maple Grove. A number of these youths were identified and will be dealt with by the Safer Neighbourhood Team. At 7.40pm, a complaint was received about a number of young people messing around with a lighter near to a gas pipe in Chestnut Avenue. One of these young people has been identified and was dealt with last night by officers.

8th July 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. Two further complaints were made about youths climbing onto the scaffolding in Maple Grove and Almond Avenue. It was also reported that some of these were riding push bikes around on the boarding attached to the scaffolding. Officers attended and the group had left. A number of names have been put forward and the Safer Neighbourhood Team will be dealing with these accordingly.

9th July 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered.

10th July 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. Complaints were received about youths climbing onto the scaffolding in Maple Grove at 10.15pm. Officers attended and spoke with a number of youths who were on the ground by this time. Advice was given and details obtained. Further anti social behaviour was reported in the early hours of the 10th July in Lime Tree Avenue, involving youths kicking a football around in the street and being rowdy. Patrols made a search but the group had already left. A noisy party was also reported at 11.15pm in Chestnut Avenue and Environmental health were informed.

12th July 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. We are continuing to deal with a minority of individuals who are climbing onto the scaffolding where decency works are ongoing. Residents are asked to ensure they report each and every instance of people climbing onto the scaffolding and any associated anti social behaviour. The identity of those involved today have been obtained and will be dealt with by the Safer Neighbourhood Team.

13th July 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate this afternoon and evening. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled together with Police Community Support Officers in the CCTV vehicle. Particular attention was paid to the area around Maple Grove, where scaffolding is currently the source of a good deal of anti social behaviour. Damage had been caused to the door of a property on Maple Grove last night. PC Pescador-Smith is investigating this and the suspects have been identified.

14th July 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate this afternoon and evening. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. At 6pm, a complaint was made about a group of young people who were yet again causing problems on the scaffolding in Maple Grove. Officers attended but the group had already gone, however, names have been given of those involved.

15th July 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate this afternoon and evening. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. Officers dealt with a group of young people who were gathering and being rowdy on the estate. despite several warnings about their behaviour, one female was issued with an £80 Fixed Penalty Notice after she swore at officers. Further patrols took place in Maple Grove, following a complaint at 10pm that youths were climbing onto it and dismantling it. The Safer Neighbourhood Team is working closely with St Leger Homes and the contractor to see what additional security measures can be put in place to discourage and prevent further instances of anti social behaviour connected to the scaffolding. Specific individuals have already been seen by officers and referrals made for follow up action.

16th July 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols this afternoon and evening in company with officers from Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team. Regular patrols were made of the estate and checks made of the scaffolding in Maple Grove. No incidents were reported or discovered.

28th July 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. A meeting also took place, involving members of the Safer Neighbourhood Team, St Leger Homes and Bramall Construction plc, to discuss the current issues connected to the decency work on the CALM estate. In particular it was discussed how the repeat issue of youths scaling the scaffolding could be dealt with. A number of proposals were put forward. A door to door exercise will be carried out in the next week, to gather further information about the extent of the problem and to try and identify the samll minority of individuals who are causing it. Specific tenants on the estate will be dealt with - the parents of certain young people on this estate are not doing enough to curb the behaviour of their children. Their continued tenancy is at risk as a result. We would urge residents to report each and every instance of anti social behaviour on the estate to give Police and other agencies the best possible opportunity to deal with these individuals. At 9.45pm, officers from Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team dealt with a number of young people near to the scaffolding. They were spoken with and advised. Details of these individuals were obtained.

29th September 2010 - Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the estate today. A complaint about loud music was made by a resident in Chestnut Avenue at 10.15pm. Doncaster Council Environmental Health Officers were advised. At 1pm, officers pursued a motorcycle around the estate, both rider and passenger were not wearing helmets. The rider failed to stop for Police and was eventually lost in the estate. The rider and passenger were identified by officers. Further enquiries will be made and both individuals dealt with.

30th September 2010 -  Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out patrols of the locality today. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight. No incidents were reported or discovered. At the PACT meeting held this evening, residents were updated about progress against this priority. Sadly, no residents from the estate were in attendance. However, in view of the amount of ongoing work by all partner agencies and the long term nature of some aspects to it, the priority will remain current this month.

An estate walk involving officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team and St Leger Homes took place on the estate this afternoon to look at specific addresses and locations of concern. At 8.10pm, a resident of Almond Avenue rang on behalf of a neighbour stating that unknown youths were throwing bricks at the neighbours property. Patrol officers attended alongside officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team. No individuals were found and no damage was caused. CCTV footage is being reviewed.

Officers attended and made a search but nobody was located.

At 6.10pm, a complaint was made by a resident of Almond Avenue about the intimidating behaviour of a group of youths sat opposite his address. Officers attended and nobody was located. The Safer Neighbourhood Team are reviewing CCTV footage in respect of this.

27th October 2010 - Several reports were received of youths throwing fireworks on the estate, officers attended and a fixed penalty notice was issued to one of the youths present, ABC+ forms are also being submitted.  Patrols carried out by the Armthorpe Safer Neighbourhood Team and the Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team throughout the rest of the day and night.

Eggs had been thrown at the neighbours house in recent days which had not been reported. A search was made but no youths were located and no damage caused.

Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team also patrolled overnight.  At 1.15pm, a resident in Lime Tree Avenue reported the theft of a childs pedal cycle from the rear garden of their property. Derogatory comments had also been written in the frost on the callers car. The bike was subsequently returned and found on the front lawn of the property. No other incidents were reported or found. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to come forward and speak with the Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Officers attended but no incident had actually taken place. The neighbour, a friend of the caller, was found to be drunk. He admitted throwing the egg at the house as a joke. No other incidents were reported.

A search was made by Police. No other incidents were reported or discovered. Diversionary activities were once again provided by the Safer Neighbourhood Team at the CALM estate Community Centre this evening. 15 local young people attended.  At the PACT meeting held this evening, it was decided to retain this priority into next month. No local residents were present at the meeting.

Two separate complaints were received from residents in Chestnut Avenue, about eggs being thrown at houses during the evening.  Officers attended but found noone present. Further enquiries are being made with local shops and via the school.

A resident of Almond Avenue complained about young people snowballing passing vehicles at 7pm. Officers attended and the group had already left.

Complaints about young people snowballing were received at 4.30pm in Lime Tree Avenue.Officers attended some time later and nobody was found. At 9.15pm, a resident of Almond Avenue complained about young people obstructing the highway with a makeshift snow wall. Officers were unable to attend at that time due to the high volume of incidents and inclement weather. Doncaster Council Highways Department were alerted and requested to examine it when possible.

A resident of Lime Tree Avenue complained about a group of young people with baseball bats. They then went on to cause damage to the garden fence. It is believed that the group were drunk. A search was made for the offenders but nobody was located. No other incidents were reported.
