At the P.A.C.T. meeting on 3rd March 2010, we asked: 'what issues concern you most in your area?'
The PACT (Partners And Communities Together) meeting for your area is held on the first Wednesday of the month from 6:30pm at Guildford Grange, Guildford View (off Park Grange Road). This is your chance to meet members of your Safer Neighbourhood Team and discuss issues that concern you, the area in which you live, and be a part of the tasking process for both the Police and our partners.
Youth related anti-social behaviour and criminal damage on Norfolk Park Ave
Evenings
The residents of the street have been offered the opportunity to participate in the Safe and Well Scheme. This scheme provides equipment to make the participants properties more secure, and consequently make the resident feel more comfortable in their home.
Both PCSOs and PCs have directed their patrols in to the area. They have looked at being in the area during the times the anti-social behaviour has been reported. These patrols have been not only in cars, but also on foot and on cycles.
Truancy patrols have been conducted in the area looking for children who should be at school and are possibly engaging in anti-social behaviour. These children are often located in the nearby playground and park area.
Since April 1st 2010 there have been six reported incidents linked to this priority. Four have been suspicious vehicles or people, whilst two were for burglaries.
