At the P.A.C.T. meeting on 1st September 2010, we asked: 'what issues concern you most in your area?'
The PACT (Partners And Communities Together) meeting for your area is held on the first Wednesday of the month from 6:30pm at Guildford Grange, Guildford View (off Park Grange Road). This is your chance to meet members of your Safer Neighbourhood Team and discuss issues that concern you, the area in which you live, and be a part of the tasking process for both the Police and our partners.
Arbourthorne Pond, Eastern Avenue - Alcohol related Anti-Social Behaviour between 4pm and 10pm.
A 'MoCam' (Mobile Camera mounted on a street lamp) has been utilised in the area. The camera acts as a deterrent to those involved in anti-social behaviour and criminal activity.
Both PCSO’s and PC’s have directed their patrols in to the area.
Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team are currently gathering information through observations and reports from local residents. This will be used to take action against those involved in criminality.
An SNT officer regularly attends meetings of the 'Friends of Arbourthorne Pond' group with other partner agencies.
