Over recent months Police Officers and PCSO's from the Rother Valley South SNT area have been joined by partners from Rotherham 2010 Ltd and RMBC in a number of operations to deal with illegal motor cycles.
During this period (January to July) a total of 32 warning notices have been given to people for riding machines in a manner likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to the public.
Further operations are planned for the coming months and members of the public are advised to make contact should they have any information regarding the illegal use of off road bikes/nuisance bikes in their area. The contact numbers are 0114 2202020 or 01709 832720.
