Whilst on foot patrol on Exeter Drive officers from the local policing team were approached by a member of the public who informed them that a male had just offered a laptop computer for sale.
After a short foot pursuit a male was detained, the male was in possession of three computers.
Following this person’s arrest, the investigation revealed that the three laptops had been stolen a short time before from Weston Park Cancer Hospital. All the property was recovered and returned to the hospital.
The male was charged with burglary and put before the court.
