Evenings
Both PCSO’s and PC’s have directed their patrols in to the area. They have looked at being in the area during the times anti-social behaviour has previously been reported. These patrols have been in cars, on foot and on cycles.
Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team are currently gathering information through observations and reports from local residents. This will be used to take action against those involved in criminality.
Residents who have expressed concerns have been provided with the areas Police Community Support Officers details, so that they can continue to liaise with the safer neighbourhood Team and be updated of any action taken.
There have been no reported incidents relating to this priority during December 2010.

Nuisance youths/ASB related incidents at Wybourn Community Primary School, Manor Oaks Road

The PACT (Partners And Communities Together) meeting for your area is held on the second Friday of the month from 9:30am at Park Centre, Duke Street. This is your chance to meet members of your Safer Neighbourhood Team and discuss issues that concern you, the area in which you live, and be a part of the tasking process for both the Police and our partners.
Nuisance youths/ASB related incidents at Wybourn Community Primary School, Manor Oaks Road
Evenings
We have liaised with the school in order to ensure that the area is as secure as possible and any incidents are dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
Recently in our area, 9 illegal motorcycles have been seized as a result both directed Police patrols and information received from memebers of the public. 10 official warnings have also been given, meaning if the vehicle or it's driver is seen driving in a wreckless manner the vehicle will be seized.
Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team are conducting patrols wearing body worn cameras. These cameras are worn on the officer's body armour and are able to record images in colour, with sound. They not only act as a deterrent but images captured are often used in active investigations as evidence.
A number of parents have been spoken to informally about their childrens' behaviour. This has been done at the Officers discretion for low-level anti-social behaviour where it is believed it can be stopped by chastisement from parents. This is common when dealing with younger children.

A CCTV system has been utilised to gather evidence of anti-social behaviour. The images captured will allow Officers to identify those responsible for the behaviour.

Evenings
Uniformed officers are conducting high visibility foot, cycle and vehicle patrols to engage with local residents and take enforcement action against those engaged in criminal activity and anti-social behaviour.
Worked with staff and users of the trust premises to minimise instances of anti-social behaviour.
Visited local schools to speak to pupils about the effects of anti-social behaviour in the community.
Visits by uniformed officers, and housing representatives where appropriate, to the parents/guardians of offenders. The offenders and their parents / guardians are served with a contract whereby the young person agrees to modify their behaviour.
Other activities the Manor & Arbourthorne team have been involved with this month;
Officers have stopped and spoken to or searched over 200 people in the area.
Identified over 400 vulnerable vehicles in the area and sent letters to the owners informing them how they can take action to reduce car crime.
Identified and reported 10 vehicles without a valid Vehicle Excise Licence (tax disc).
Attended seven community meetings.
Operation Blitz - Uniformed officers have visited local residents at their home addresses and engaged with them in the street to obtain their views on crime in the local area and how they best feel we can address their concerns.
Operation K-Boozer - Targeting alcohol related anti-social behaviour in the area. This has been combined with an alcohol related test purchase operation.
One stolen vehicle recovered.
Attended 5 Multi-Agency Meetings.
Visited 114 members of public, to discuss issues affecting their lives.
Operation K Krook-Lock 5 resulted in117 vulnerable vehicles being identified, 12 stop searches,3 arrests, 1 vehicle 2 laptops a TV and a Playstation recovered which had been stolen.
