 The PACT (Partners And Communities Together) meeting for your area is held on the first Tuesday of the month from 6pm at Hatfield house School.  This is your chance to meet members of your safer neighbourhood team and discuss issues that concern you and the area in which you live, and be a part of the tasking process for both the Police, and our partners who are also invited to the meeting to discuss issues that may not be a Policing matter.

Anti Social behaviour around Nethershire Shops was a particular concern.

We did: 

This priority was set at the last P.A.C.T. meeting. Activity so far this month; There are a number of issues that require long term work so this priority will remain  (updated 03-08-2011 SM)

  • We have increased patrols
  • We have stop searched/accounted people in the street
  • Look to engage the youth pro-actively via partners and activities
  • We run a partnership exercise along with Sheffield Futures, Young Offender’s Team, The Corner and Sanctuary Housing with a multi media van, which provides young people with on street opportunities and diversionary activities. It also provides sexual health awareness advice, careers, and training sign posting.
  • We attend at Hartleybrook School on a regular basis where we engage with staff and educate pupils on various personal safety issues and anti social behaviour issues
  • We have set up and staffed a regular "Drop In" session at Hartley Brook Tenants and Residents Association. During this session we engage with many residents and look for solutions to local problems

  • We continue to identify and issue 1 Admin 171 seizure warning forms to drivers of nuisance vehicles
  • We have seized vehicles under operation Takeaway-using vehicles without insurance  
  • We have sent  letter to the parents of youths causing anti social behaviour (PAL Letters) and letters to adults causing Anti-Social Behaviour (AAL).  Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABC) will also been requested 1 contract has been reuqested so far this month.
  • We are running Operation KP Wider where we aim to reduce off road motorcycle incidents 
  • We continue operation K-Parking that tackles the parking issues around the local schools.
  • We have issued Fixed Penalty Ticket for various traffic offences.
  • We have issued 1 Fixed Penalty Ticket for Public Order Offences.
  • Fixed Penalty Ticket was issued for causing Criminal Damage.
  • We have issued 1 Fixed Penalty Ticket for possession of Cannabis
  • We have run Test Purchase Operation’s where 3 premises failed and 4 passed
  • We issued notices to leave an area in Shiregreen for individuals that may be involved in Anti Social behaviour
  • A male was arrested for numerous thefts from a shop at Lane Top
  • A male and a female were arrested for Intent to supply cocaine.
  • We have carried out Drugs Warrant where a number of Cannabis plants were found. male was arrested.
  • We have identified  vulnerable vehicles and sent letters to the owners and Vulnerable properties.

  • Looked to engaging local young people in diversionary activities
  • We have seized alcohol off young people under the age of 18yrs.
  • We run a partnership exercise along with Sheffield Futures, Young Offender’s Team, The Corner and Sanctuary Housing with a multi media van, which provides young people with on street opportunities and diversionary activities. It also provides sexual health awareness advice, careers, and training sign posting.

  • We have recently ran a test purchase operation across the SNA where 9 out of 20 premises tested failed and were issued £80 fines.
