We did: 

A high visibility presence has been maintained on the run upto and including Mischief period, shops and takeaways have been visited regularly. There have been two isolated incidents of anti social behaviour in the area, officers have sent out letters to parents of the youths involved. 

Several anti social behaviour letters have been sent to parents regarding local youths being involved in incidents of ASB on Pontefract Road Lundwood. Continued high visibility patrols have been made by PCSO Bentley and PC Pursley, following reports of damage to St Marys Flats Littleworth Lane/Pontefract Road. Regular reassurance visits are being made to local shops and takeaways.

We did: 

Patrols have been made to the area, and a high visibility presence over Mischief period by officers. On two separate occasions a group of youths have been seen in the area involved in anti social behaviour and letters have been sent to their parents.  

High visibility patrols have continued to be made to the area by PCSO Kemp and PC Pursley. A acceptable behaviour contract has been served on a local male youth regarding causing ASB within Monk Bretton area. Several anti social behaviour letters have been sent to parents regarding incidents reported.

MOTORCYCLE NUISANCE ACROSS ROYSTON SNT AREA - AGREED AT PACT MEETING 22nd NOVEMBER 2011

We did: 

Patrols continue to be made to hotspot areas by Police Officers and PCSO's, several ADM171 warnings have been issued to illegal off road vehicle users and several bikes have been seized under ADM172 by PCSO's in the Athersley/Carlton area.

Royston SNT are currently arranging bike operations for over the winter months following reports of nuisance off road vehicles. We welcome any information from residents, such as descriptions of riders, bikes, quads and where the vehicles are coming from. Over the past weeks several ADM171 warnings have been issued to riders mainly in the Athersley area. A bike was seized from New Lodge under ADM172 and a bike seized from Lundwood under ADM172 by PCSO's.

You said: 

Concerns regarding noise nuisance, drug use and anti social behaviour on New St & High St, Royston were reported at the PACT meeting.

We did: 

Police and PSCO staff have been present on the street Thursday night from 11pm until 3am. No noise issues and no gathering of youths. Street very quiet.

New Street was visited during the day and evening until midnight on Friday night. No persons gathering on the street no street drinking and noise all very quiet.

New Steert checks continued saturday evening and overnight. Again no persons gathering on the street all quiet no street drinking or drugs use.

Intense patrols carried out on New Street/High Street on Friday and Staurday evening - no noise nuisance and no incidents reported.

Leaflet drop done by PCSO's on New Street.

All week this area has been given specific attention by Officers and PCSO staff on foot and in marked police vehicles. there have been no issues of any kind. the street has been quiet with no numbers of people gathering and no noise issues.

 

AGREED AT PACT MEETING ON 5TH JULY 2011- GRASS FIRES ON KITSON DRIVE & LAMB LANE, MONK BRETTON

You said: 

Youths were camping out on fileds near Lamb Lane. They were setting fires to keep warm during the night and these were spreading.

We did: 

Regular foot patrols and passing attention from mobile Police Officers in the area. High visible presence during the main times these offences have been comitted. Police to attend with the fire service if called. This is to identify offenders who fire officers have previously seen at the location.

There have been numerous patrols in this area by the local team and response Officers from Barnsley. No problems have been reported over the last week and no anti social behaviour has been witnessed.

The area remains quiet with no incidents being reported. High visible patrols continue. 

Police and fire service together will attend any reports of fires in this area.

The area remains quiet with no fires or ASB.

We did: 

The Park is now open again having been closed some months for repairs. Residents have asked the local Police team to keep a high visible presence around the park during the first few days/weeks of the re opening to ensure local youths use the park responsibly. PSCO staff will be patrolling on foot to provide a high visible presence.

At 14.25 on 9th July 2011, PC Sidaway visited the park, there were children in the park and using the facilities correctly, no issues.

Park being well used by local residents and no issues with ASB or Damage being caused.

Friday 22nd July park being well attended no ASB or Damage all local children in the park in good spirits.

Saurday 23rd july, park being used by a handful of local kids on bikes. No ASB No Damage

Unoccupied Public Houses within Royston SNT

You said: 

Attendees at the June PACT meeting expressed concerns that the unoccupied buildings are at risk of fire, also the risk of injuries and possible concerns for life

We did: 

PSCO Linda Kemp has conducted several patrols with the fire service checking empty premises. They ensure they are secure and there is no build up of rubbish which could be set on fire.

SNT staff have been checked the premises each tour of duty, to ensure they are safe and secure.

All premises are being checked by both Police and the Fire service including joint patrols.

Premises chacked by PCSO J Coates all all in order.

Daily patrols by Police and Fire service continue to monitor these properties.

Patrols made on Friday evening by PCSO Kemp and PCSO Coates, a property was brought to their attention on Midland Road Royston. The property was made secure that same evening. No incidents reported over the weekend.
