The PACT (Partners And Communities Together) meeting for your area is held on the first Tuesday of the month from 6pm to 7pm at Oxspring Bank Community Centre, Oxspring Bank. This is your chance to meet members of your local safer neighbourhood team and discuss issues that concern you about the area in which you live, and be a part of the tasking process for both the Police, and our partners who are also invited to the meeting to discuss issues that may not be a Policing matter.

You can still get involved! Open the GET IN TOUCH section, which is situated on YOUR AREA site and e-mail your team with detail of what you want them to know. They will then keep you updated about what they are planning to do about it.

This priority was agreed at the Crime and Community Safety meeting on 5th October 2010.
This is a new PACT priority as of 5th October 2010.
From Tuesday 26/10/10 to Tuesday 02/11/10, Police Officers & PCSO's conducted high visibility patrols in the area. We also continue to do joint patrols with Sheffield Council wardens within your area.
We have been stopping and engaging with any groups of youths in the area. If any of the youths have been causing anti-social behaviour we have been taking their details and starting the process with Parent Advisory Letters, which are the warnings before Anti-social Behaviour Contracts.

Drug dealing Dryden Way.
This priority was agreed at the Crime and Community Safety meeting on 1st June 2010.
This is happening from morning time throughout the day into the late evening on all days.
Since this Priority was set the activities so far include.
Officers have executed a number of warrants on addresses within the area, and from each address quantities of drugs & stolen property have been recovered. Enquiries are on-going in relation to the occupants.
From Wednesday 23/06/10 to Wednesday 30/06/10, Police officers & PCSO's conducted foot patrols in the area, disrupting activities by locals in the area. No incidents of note reported.
SYP in conjunction with Sheffield Homes have also arranged for the communal entrance to a block of flats to be fixed. The block in question had been targetted by nominals causing ASB.
On the 28/06/10 officers attended on Dryden Way following a call from a member of the public in relation to drug dealing. As a result of this call officers stopped a male on Dryden Way and following a search he was found to be in possession of cannibis. The male was issued with a street caution for cannibis.

Thurdays, Firdays, Saturdays and Sundays Between the hours of 16:00 and 01:00
> We have listened to your concerns and have stepped up patrols in the area, Police Community Support Officers working alongside Police officers have been using headcams to record the activity of those causing Anti Social Behaviour in the community.

>Drug dealing Dryden Way and Emerson Cresent.
All week long no specifc times.
> As a result of information recieved a number of drug warrants have been executed on Dryden Way and Emersopn Cresent.
> A 'crack house closure' was also enforced on Dryden Way. This was a joint operation between Sheffield Homes and South Yorkshire police there was also a after care team put in place.
> A Reasurance Accesibility Visibility (RAV) day, this consisted of a large Police presence in and around Dryden Way and Dryden Road and Southey Hill.

> As a result of information recieved a number of drugs warrants have been executed on Dryden Way and Emerson Cresent.
> A Reasurance Accesibility Visibility (RAV) day which consisted of a large police presence (including the motorcycle wing and police horses) was run in and around Dryden Way, Dryden Drive, Dryden Road and Southey Hill. A number of people were stopped and checked.

> We have listened to your concerns and have put an Operation in place. K-Overt is an ongoing Operation, and this includes the use of Police Community Support Officers and Police Officers wearing headcams to record the activity of those causing anti social behaviour within the community.
