We did: 

After numerous complaints from members of the public it was decided that this issue would be addressed by the Town Centre SNT

PCSS Featherstone has liaised with South Yorkshire Police's communications team to get some small cards printed that can be handed out to these cyclists advising them of the law and the consequences.

Amy Lindsay from Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council has been contacted regarding getting some signs devised and made explaining about the cycling issues. These will hopefully be up on posts around the Town Centre after the New Year.

21.11.12 - Approximately 40 cyclist have been stopped and advised this week within the town Centre for riding on the footpath and riding within the pedestrian Zone between the hours of 10 am and 4.30pm

25/11/10 –At today’s PACT meeting residents mentioned the issues in the area therefore it was decided it would be a PACT priority.   

26/11/10 – PCSOs patrolled are thoroughly during the shift.  Attended an address on Beckett Road regarding nuisance youths and took details.  Area monitored but no youths seen.  

30/11/10 – PCSOs covered Town Centre for a Street Trading Operation.  No issues of note in other areas.   

01/12/10 – Due to the adverse weather patrols within the area were minimal.  However telephone calls were made to residents and mobile patrols were made when they were able to. 

02/12/10 – Foot patrol were made again due to the weather the patrols were made to main road areas Beckett Road areas.  Later-on the day delivery of Neighbourhood Watch letters to residence of Stewart and Gordon Street for a meeting arranged next week.   

08/12/10 – Meeting at the Railway Pub for residents of Stewart and Gordon Street – to discuss Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) – Co-coordinator  attended and gave out the relevant registration forms.  To visit residents next week. 

16/12/10 – From Neighbourhood Response team that the area was patrolled at 3:00 am.  Information was passed onto the Police regarding the disused building -to be monitored.

18/12/10 – Update from the Council that daily patrols have been made in the area no issues have been raised.  Further enquiries are being made to the agent of the Horse and Jockey Pub to speak about the alleyway.  Further enquiries to be made.

30/11/10 – Street Traders operation carried out by Police but due to the weather, there were only 2 traders.  The traders were advised regarding street trading legislation and subsequently left the area. 

Update 11/12/10  from the Police – Operation Accolade 2 involves high visibility patrols on Town Centre including the South Yorkshire Police display bus being deployed on Baxter Gate.  The bus is staffed by PCSOs and other multiagency partners i.e. Council and SY Fire and Rescue.  Whilst on the display bus, Baxter Gate is patrolled frequently and street traders dealt with proactively.  So far the bus has been utilised 5 times and will continue throughout December.  Council Enforcement Officer and also monitoring street traders closely.

Town Centre Anti social behaviour and street drinking at Waterdale

30/09/10 - It was agreed at todays meetin that the waterdale area would be a PACT priority, due to people drinking in the area and also close to a nursery. The area has been patrolled today with no issues.

31/09/10 - The area has been patrolled at lunchtime with no issues.

05/10/10 – Area patrolled and Waterdale Management visited re a meeting to discuss issues, whilst in the area PCSOs confiscated  4 x 500 ml cans Special Brew from the nominal’s in the area and moved them on. 

09/10/10 – Area patrolled throughout the shift by Town Centre SNT and Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) car.  No issues on note . 

12/10/10 High visibility patrol by PCSO Kirk during day shift and PCSO Cooke and PCSO Kemble during afters shift no issues of note, no incidents.

TOWN CENTRE -Traffic contravening the no left and right turn at Danum traffic lights, High Street.

27/08/10 - Information from PS Butler that letters have been given to all Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Operators regarding this Priority. 

09/09/10 – Neighbourhood Response Team forward their patrol log of which they had patrolled the area at 03:12 hours – nothing was seen. 

14/09/10 – Officers from tutor unit in area, several people advised and one ticket issued. 

16/09/10 – Town Centre SNT monitored the area and 1 fixed penalty notice was issued. 

20/09/10 – PCSO from Town Centre patrolled the area throughout the day no issues. 

22/09/10 - Area actively patrolled and monitored throughout the day no incidents of note. 

30/09/10 - It was discussed and agreed at today's meeting that this priority would be closed.
