Antisocial behaviour on the Firshill estate.
This is occurring mainly during the afternoon and into late evening on all days.

- Increased high visibility foot and cycle patrols, carried out daily and reported on.
- Carry on further enquiries to gather intelligence and information
- Stopping people and asking for them to account for their presence in the area
- Directing patrols through other teams within the police service

Anti social behaviour, youth nuisance and drug misuse is occurring at Spital Hill.
Particularly in the late afternoons and evenings, but also throughout the day.
This priority will remain so throughout this month. It is a priority that requires a long term plan for enforcement, engagement and diversion. In addition to the regular officers for your area, there have been extra resources in the area, including our Road Crime Unit, who specialise in vehicle offences and related crime. - 4 people were recently arrested for the possession and production of cannabis.
- A male was Street Bailed for the possession of a bladed article.
- We have recently run a test purchase operation across the SNA where 5 out of 12 premises tested failed and were issued £80 fines.
- We have recently been stop checking drivers for drink driving offences across the SNA. 16 tests conducted, all negative.
- We have recently run an operation where 5 tickets were issued for wearing no seat belt, 1 Fixed penalty notice for no insurance, 1 fixed penalty notice for section 5 Public Order and 1 Heavy goods vehicle was seized on behalf of customs for running on red diesel

The PACT (Partners And Communities Together) meeting for your area is held on the first Wednesday of the month from 6pm at Sorby House, Spital Hill. This is your chance to meet members of your safer neighbourhood team and discuss issues that concern you and the area in which you live, and be a part of the tasking process for both the Police, and our partners who are also invited to the meeting to discuss issues that may not be a Policing matter.
The next PACT meeting for your area is Wednesday 2nd March 2011, 6pm at Sorby House, Spital Hill
Anti social behaviour and drug misuse is occuring at Spital Hill.
Particularly in the late afternoons and evenings, but also throughout the day
This priority will remain so throughout this month. In addition to the regular officers for your area, there have been extra resources in the area, including our Road Crime Unit, who specialise in vehicle offences and related crime. Activities so far include..... (Updated 21-02-2011 SM)
- We have so far increased the number of cycle, foot and mobile patrols in the locality
- We have stop searched/accounted people in the street

Drug misuse, using and supplying still remains an issue for the residents of Firshill. Cars are regularly seen acting suspiciously throughout the day and users are walking the streets around Firshill. There are signs of misuse in Roe Woods where needles are discarded.
- This is occuring mainly during the afternoon and into late evening on all days.
This priority was originally set on 5 August, and also carried forward for the next month so far activity includes; (Updated 9/11/09)
