Anti Social Behaviour on Southbourne Road
This priority was agreed at the meeting held at St Marks Church Broomhill on Thursday 30th September 2010.
Evenings between 9pm-4am
Regular patrols have been undertaken by officers from the SNA in relation to the matter since it was brought to the meeting by residents. They have been joined by Sheffield University security in providing a High Visable presence.
> 4 x students spoken to for rowdy behaviour. All entered into Restorative Justice.
> During 11th-18th December 2010 'Operation Kristingle' took place where Police staff worked until 4am. No issues to report.
* 20th Dec-14th Jan Students on Christmas vacation
> In the week 24th-29th January two Students were caught by University Security writing in the frost on a resident's car. Details were obtained from the pair and will now be dealt with through by the University.
* Following a joint meeting this last week between the Police, Sheffield University, The Good Neighbours Noise Team, and Cllr Mohammed, it was agreed to close the internal gate at Stephenson Block to reduce the foot fall onto Southbourne Rd. Residents have reported a 75% reduction in the amount of people on the said road.
In addition, for a short period the outer gate onto Westbourne Rd was also closed. This has now been reopened, but there have been no incidents reported of note.
> April 2011 Plans have been finalised for the end of term finish, where Police staff will be working into the early hours monitoring student behaviour.
> May 2011 One male student dealt with for rowdy and inconsiderate behaviour in the street. He will dealt with by way of Restorative Justice.
> 4th-11th June 2011 worked until 5am to monitor students behaviour. THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS REPORTED TO THE POLICE DURING THIS TIME IN THIS AREA.
> 12th June Although alot of Students have now vacated the halls of residence for the summer break, continued attention will be given to the Southbourne Rd.
This priority was originally agreed at the meeting Aheld at St Marks Church Broomhill on Thursday 30th September 2010.
The decision was made on Friday 24th June to remove this as a PACT priority.
Anti-social behaviour (Litter and Excessive noise) on Fulwood Rd between Manchester Rd and Endcliffe Vale Rd

At the P.A.C.T meeting on 26th August at 7pm, at St Vincent's Church, 40 Pickmere Rd, Crookes. Local residents from the Fulwood Rd area requested that with the impending return of Students to the area, Fulwood Rd be reinstated as a P.A.C.T priority.
Between 10 pm and 4am.
Friday 17th September 2010 saw the first of the new intake of Students arrive for the new term. This date also saw the commencement of Officers from the Broomhill SNT working for the next ten days until 4am patrolling the area in order to deal with ASB behaviour.
Officers provided a high visibility presence on foot and in vehicles around the main Broomhill centre, both Endcliffe/Ranmoor villages as well as rented accomodation in Crookes, Ecclesall, and Sharrowvale areas.
A MOCAM was also placed on Fulwood Rd to monitor any incidents that occured.
A number of Students were spoken to re their behaviour. Any taxi found waiting on Fulwood Rd near to the junctiion with Endcliffe Vale Rd were suitably advised and moved on.
During this time there were no reported incidents from the public.
The above P.A.C.T priority will be reviewed at the next meeting to be held at on Thursday 30th September 2010 at St Marks Church Broomfield Rd Broomhill.
AS NO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WERE PRESENT AT THE MEETING AND THERE HAD BEEN NO REPORTED INCIDENTS, IT WAS DECIDED TO REMOVE THIS AS A P.A.C.T PRIORITY. IN ADDITION THE MOCAM WILL BE RELOCATED WITHIN BROOMHILL.

Anti-Social Behaviour (litter & under age drinking) in Spider Park between Crimicar Lane and Blackbrook Rd.
Weekends-in particular Friday/Saturday evenings between 7pm-Midnight
Between 16th & 26th August 2010, officers from the local team have been patrolling this area in a bid to reduce ASB, and also provide reassurance to residents and members of the community. Even though alot of the nusiance has occured mainly during evenings, passing attention will take place during the day whilst the school holidays are in place.
In view of the reduction of incidents, the MOCAM that was in place, has been removed.
On Friday 9th July, one youth-who was over 18yrs-was warned about drinking in front of minors and therefore had alcohol confiscated.
There has been a dramatic decline in numbers of youths at these locations over the past few weeks and those that have been present have ben well behaved and not been causing any problems.
Alcohol and the availability of it-in particular to young people-is a contributing factor to anti-social behaviour. Test purchase operations have been undertaken and have proved successful. Further ones will be carried out to reduce underage drinking.
Work is continuing within local schools through our CYPO (Children's and Young Persons Officer) to target, engage and steer young people away from causing anti-social behaviour.
Sheffield Futures are now working in the Fulwood area on Thursday evenings. This involves patrolling the locality, engaging with youngsters, and advising them on issues such as Healty Living & Street Work. This Priority was reviewed at the P.A.C.T meeting on 26th August at 7pm, at St Vincent's Church, 40 Pickmere Rd Crookes. As a result of the drop in complaints and reduction in numbers of youths frequenting the area it was decided to remove this location as a P.A.C.T priority. It will however be given attention as part of routine patrols.

Evenings and weekends
For the period between Monday 14th-Friday 18th June, officers from the local SNA have carried out high visibility patrols dedicated to dealing with this priority, offering reassurance to residents. They have been supported by staff from the NPG under Op Krassus which is targeted at Youth Nuisance/ASB patrols. Work is also being carried out with the University in looking at a long term solution.
From Friday 4th until Saturday 12th June, Op Hiatus ran. This was a dedicated operation patrolling the student areas as they finished for the end of term. Staff from the SNA policing team worked until 4am to deal with any issues.
This proved a successful operation with no real incidents/problems reported
It is also noted that alot of students have now returned or are returning home for the summer period.
This priority was agreed at the P.A.C.T meeting held on Wednesday 17th March at Halifax Conference Centre Endcliffe Vale Rd. It was decided to retain it for the next month where it will be reviewed at the to be held on Wednesday June 30th at 7pm. The venue will be the Community Rooms, 53 Westminster Cres Lodge Moor.
It was decided by those present at this meeting, that due to no new incidents being reported, that this priority be removed.

During the week 9th-13th May, officer's from the SNA have been patrolling this area, particularly during our evening shifts, providing reassurance to the residents and community.
> W/C 6th June One incident reported this week about this location.
Below is a summary of some of the complaints/outcomes relating to the above priority
> Sept 8th Following reports earlier in the week of fresh graffiti on properties in the area and on the gennel, 3 youths have been identified and are been dealt with by means of Resorative Justice
> 4 Parent Advisory Letters(PAL Letters) were delivered in the week (11th-15th Oct) to parents of youths found causing Anti Social Behaviour in the area.
> 7th June officers speak with 25 youths messing around in the in trees/bushes on the gennel after school. Names taken and advice given.
* Alcohol and the availability of it-in particular to young people-is a contributing factor to anti-social behaviour. Frequent test purchase operations are undertaken by officers in order to combat the problem of underage drinking. In the last one saw 18 premises visited within our area. 16 passed, with 2 failing. Fixed penalty notices were issued to the people who served the alcohol. Further operations will be carried out.
* Work is continuing within local schools through our CYPO (Children's and Young Persons Officer) to target, engage and steer young people away from causing anti-social behaviour. in addition Sheffield Futures have provided activities and worked with local youth clubs in the area.
The location has been included in regular patrols during Operation K'Hiddo where officers visit all areas where youths are known to congregate.
This priority was agreed at the P.A.C.T meeting held at St Thomas' Church on Wednesday 9th December 2009.
It was decided on 24th June 2011 to remove this as a PACT priority.
Youth Nuisance in and around Eccelsall Infant School and Huntley Road

Rowdy and Anti-Social Behaviour in and around Ecclesall Infant School and Huntley Road.
This priority was agreed at the P.A.C.T meeting held on 21st October 2009 at the Halifax Hall Conference centre.
Evenings and weekends
Police Officers and PCSO's continue to provide High Visibility patrols, aimed at deterring instances of Antisocial Behaviour, thereby giving reassurance to residents living next to the school and in the vicinity with relation to this matter. This week approximately 20 hours have been commited to this area.
In connection to youths found in the grounds of the school, 4 PAL 1 (Parent Advisary Letters) have been delivered. More will be sent out in the next few weeks.
Alcohol and the availability of it-in particular to young people-is a contributing factor to anti-social behaviour. To combat this, a further test purchase operation was carried out at local off-licences on Friday 13th November. As a result 12 premises were visited within our area. 10 passed with 2 failing. Fixed penalty notices were issued to the people who served the alcohol.

Rowdy and Anti-Social Behaviour on Glen Almond Road and within the grounds of Banner Cross Methodist Church.

Youths gathering at the side of the Church on Glen Almond Rd being rowdy and acting in an Anti-Social manner.
This priority was agreed at the P.A.C.T meeting at 7pm on Wednesday 16th September 2009 at the Community Room, Westminster Estate, Lodgemoor.
Evening times
Over 20 hours of High Visibility patrols by Police Officers and PCSO's from the SNT have been carried out in the area over the last 7 days, aimed at deterring instances of Antisocial Behaviour, thereby giving reassurance to residents living next to the Church and also it's members.
Operation Dark Nights-which was the force operation aimed at reducing anti-social behaviour during the Halloween and Bonfire period-ran from Monday 26th October until Friday 6th November with officers patrolling into the early hours to deal with problems. To date indications show that the operation proved to be a great success.
A detached youth worker from Sheffield Futures continues to visit Bingham/Endcliffe Park areas on a Wednesday evening engaging with youngsters. Feed back from the worker states that there has been a positive response from those taking part.

The result from last night shows that 12 premises were visited within our area. 10 passed with 2 failing. Fixed penalty notices were issued to the people who served the alcohol.

It was decided to retain this priority and it will be reviewed at the next meeting at 7pm on Wednesday 18th November 2009, at Christ Church Canterbury Avenue, Fulwood.

Drunken and Rowdy behaviour on Southbourne Rd and at The Endcliffe Village.
This priority was agreed at the P.A.C.T meeting held at Halifax Hall Conference Centre on Wednesday 13th May. It will be reviewed at the next P.A.C.T meeting on Thursday 11th June 2009, at Halifax Hall Conference Centre, Sheffield University, Endcliffe Vale Road at 7pm.
Staff from the SNA has been working in close partnership with Sheffield University in relation to this matter.
Starting Friday 5th June for the next 10 days, Police Officers and PCSO's with extra support from security staff from the University will be conducting patrols on Southbourne Road and the Endcliffe Village together with Broomhill and designated 'green' routes.
This operation-where officers will be working until 4am-is for the end of term activities by students and has been arranged to deal with any instances of anti-social behaviour swiftly and proactively, giving advice to people passing through the area, therefore making it a more peaceful place for residents to live.
In realtion to this specific priority, a gate that provided a thoroughfare for students into the complex has been closed in the evening time at the junction of Southbourne and Westbourne Rd. Since this has happened, there hasn't been any noise problems reported and nothing that has highlighted any cause for concern for the last six weeks.
This priority was agreed at the P.A.C.T meeting held at Halifax Hall Conference Centre on Wednesday 13th May. It will be reviewed at the next P.A.C.T meeting on Thursday 11th June, to be held again at Halifax Hall Conference Centre, Endcliffe Vale Road at 7pm.
At the P.A.C.T meeting held tonight-11th June 2009-it was decided by those present that as a result of the above actions, this would be no longer a P.A.C.T priority.

This priority was agreed at the P.A.C.T meeting at 7pm on Wednesday 16th September 2009 at the Community Room, Westminster Estate, Lodgemoor.
During the week 6th-12th June, officers conducted high visibility patrols-in particular during the evening times, around Northfield Road and Bolehills Park. These patrols have been aimed at deterring instances of anti-social behaviour, thereby giving reassurance to residents and other users of the park.
> 6th-12th June During this last week there has been one incident, a report of concern about youths gathering on the basketball court at dusk
A summary of some of the complaints/outcomes relating to the above priority
> During the week 16th-26th August, complaints were received about several youths playing football on the bowling green in the park. As a result of a officers attended and spoke to youths, re their behaviour around the pavilion area. Details were taken and Parent Advisary Letters (PAL) are to be sent to parents/carers informing them of their behaviour.
> Monday 6th September, officers received a complaint re a mini moto cycle on Bole Hills Park. Three youths were located and spoken to.
> On Tuesday 7th September, officers again attended the location and seized a bike.
> March 2011 officers undertook plain clothes operations following complainants of youths in and around the bowling green/pavilion. In addition officers attended a meeting regarding reports of dogs not being controlled by their owners.
> 24th May 2011 Report received of off road motor bike in the park during the afternoon-High vis foot patrols undertaken. No-one
> 10th June 2011 Report to a local councillor from a 'concerned' resident of youths still gathering at dusk on the basketball courts. Parks staff to erect signs requesting the court be vacated by 21.00hrs.
