Anti-Social Behaviour and Drugs activity on and around the Sunnybank Nature Reserve
what issues concerned you most in your area
Anti-Social Behaviour and drugs activity on and around the Sunnybank Nature Reserve was identified as a new priority at the P.A.C.T meeting held on 27/05/2010 and still remains a priority following the most recent P.A.C.T meeting held on 30/09/2010.
>As there has once again been no reported incidents it was decided at the P.A.C.T meeting of 30th September that this would no longer remain a priority.
>A police operation was carried out following a dispute between youths in the area where a male was arrested. This increased police presence and the use of stop and search powers was to provide reassurance to residents and ensure against any further disorder.
>This priority has also been included in Operation KCrassus patrols, which means not only will it receive increased patrols from uniformed and plain clothes officers from the S.N.T, but itwill will also receive increased patrols from the Neighbourhood Policing Groups in an effort to identify offenders and deal with them accordingly and provide reassurance to the community.

Anti-Social Behaviour and Drug and Alcohol Misuse on Exeter Drive, Exeter Place and Exeter Way
what issues concerned you most in your area
Anti-Social Behaviour and also drug and alcohol misuse on Exeter Drive. This priority was first set in May 2010 and still remains a priority.
>As of 06/05/11 approximately 280 hrs of patrol time has been dedicated to this priority since it was first set in May 2010.
>A police operation was carried out following a dispute between youths in the area, where a male was arrested. This increased police presence and the use of stop and search powers was to provide reassurance to residents and ensure against any further disorder.
>Every Sunday night throughout December from 6pm-9.30pm, young people were invited to attend at the car park next to the Broomhall Police Box on Broomhall Street where a mobile unit was located in which they could play computer games and socialise with friends.
>There were two fire incidents in the Exeter Drive area on 12th October. Officers from the S.N.T liaised with the Fire Service who carried out fire prevention work in the area over the following few days.
> The area covered in this priority has been amended slightly following the P.A.C.T meeting of 30th September and now includes Exeter Drive, Exeter Way and Exeter Place in relation to Anti-Social Behaviour including drug and alcohol misuse.
>Officers have carried out 3 drugs warrants in the Exeter Drive area in recent months. On these occasions no arrests were made although a small quantity of drugs were recovered.
>Officers continue to work closely with partnership agencies such as Sheffield DAAT (Drugs and Alcohol Action Team), 9/11 Project, Action Housing, Turning Point, as well as Sheffield Homes, Places For People, Northern Counties & SYHA targeting Anti-Social Behaviour issues.
>The Police Box has been reopened on Broomhall Street following requests from the public. Officers will be available to meet the public to discuss issues. Opening times are Monday 4-5pm & Friday 4-5pm. To date, this has been a tremendous success. There is also a message book in the Broomhall Centre on Broomspring Lane and at Springfield School for members of the public to leave none urgent messages for the local officers. These will be actioned and then a reply added to the message.
>Residents have been encouraged to report all incidents of Anti-Social Behaviour promptly to their local officers so they can identify offenders and deal with them accordingly. Anybody who has any information should contact their local officer on 0114-2963187 alternatively it can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Anti-Social Behaviour and drugs activity taking place in the area of Filey Street and Broomspring Lane were indentified at the P.A.C.T meeting held on 27/05/2010 and remained a priority following the meeting on 29/07/2010.
>It was agreed to remove this priority at the P.A.C.T meeting held on 30th September following a continued reduction in incidents.
>As of 13/09/10 a total of approximately 60 hrs patrol time has been spent on this priority .
>Since the priority was first set 26 Stop and Account forms have been submitted by officers in this area.
>Since the priority was first set there have been 6 arrests within the area and a number of dispersal orders for drink related anti-social behaviour issued to individuals.
>Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) are continuing to have regular meetings with 9-11 housing on Filey Street and Action Housing in order to strengthen the partnership working in the area.
>Local officers are in the process of setting up a Police operation to tackle alcohol related Anti-Social Behaviour in the area.

>The S.N.T are continuing to work closely with partner agencies in the Broomhall area, such as Sheffield Homes, Members of Linwood Gardens, community leaders, together with Youth workers from Broomhall Forum and Sheffield Futures, to seek opportunities for engaging more local youths in diversionary activities and away from Anti-Social Behaviour.
>Residents have been encouraged to report any incidents of crime or anti-social behaviour to their local officers on 0114-2963187. If they wish to speak with officers away from the area in relation to any issue please contact officers on 0114-2963187 to arrange an appointment.

Drug dealing is a major cause of Anti-Social Behaviour and anyone who actively engages or supports this illegal activity can expect to be dealt with.
32 Stop and Accounts have been submitted by officers in relation to this priority since it was set.
