24.11.11 - Foot patrol carried out between the hours of 3.35pm and 3.40pm. Nothing seen at this time and no persons present.
25.11.11 - Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Murray has today been in the area conducting an extensive high visibilty patrol of the area. this was completed between 6pm-6.30pm.
26.11.11 - PCSO Murray has been in the area on two occassions today conducting patrol of the area. These were completed at 3.30pm-3.45pm amd again at 6.15pm for thirty minutes. During the patrols in the afternoon local residents were spoken to with regards to issues on the street.
30.11.11 - PCSO Murray has again been completing high visibility patrols of the area on two seperate ocassions today. These were completed at 3pm for fifteen minutes and again at 6.15pm fo approx 30 minutes. Officers from you Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) have also been working through to 4am.
01.12.11 - Extensive foot patrols have been completed today of Kirk Street and the surrounding area. These were completed by PCSO Murray and Shackleton. These were completed on two occasions today and these have been conducted at 7pm-7.30pm and again at 8pm for approx 15 minutes. Officers from you Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) have also been working through to 4am.
02.12.11 - PCSO Murray has been completing patrols this evening with Police Constable (PC) Nuttall. These were completed as part of a Police operation called "Staysafe". This is an joint operation with Doncaster council that involves the safety of young people in the local area and signposting them to activities that may taking place. These could include local youth clubs etc. In certain circumstances officers have the power to take children to their home address or to an identified place of safety. These patrols were conducted at approx 7pm-7.30pm and again at 9pm for approx 15 minutes. Officers from you Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) have also been working through to 4am. The Neighbourhood Response Team (NRT) have been in the area also this evening after being informed of issues in the area. this patrols was completed at 10pm.
05.12.11 - PCSO Murray has been in the area first thing this morning conducting high visibility patrols of Kirk Street and the surrounding area. He has also conducted door to door enquiries of Kirk street. This was completed to try and establish what specific issues residents were facing who live on the street and the surrounding area.
07.12.11 - PCSO Murray has bee in the area today conducting high visibility patrols of the area. these were completed throughout his shift at various times. The NRT have also been completing high visibility patrols of the area during today. These were completed at various times throughout the day to include all parts of the Hexthorpe area. During this patrol they stopped 2 x young polish males who appeared to be of school age and were seen to be walking into Hexthorpe. These males were taken home and their parents advised that they should be enrolled at school. They also noted dumped rubbish at the rear of Kirk street and informed Doncaster Council to get the rubbish removed.

Some officers worked an 8-5 shift while some officers completed a shift of 10am-10pm. This was to ensure that high visibility patrols were available in the PACT priority areas. These were completed at various times throughout the day to include all parts of the Hexthorpe area.

21.09.2011 - Due to several reports from residents regarding the MUGA at the side of Galsworthy Close, it was agreed that this would become a PACT priority for the next month to try to resolve some of the issues.
21.09.2011 - An amount of glass had been smashed on the MUGA area causing a danger to users. This was reported to DMBC and was quickly cleaned up.
22.09.2011 - The MUGA was patrolled by DMBC area officers. No problems were witnessed.

26.09.2011 - Prevention patrols were done by DMBC area officers around the MUGA and Galsworthy estate. There were a small group of youths using the MUGA facility for its correct purpose.
27.09.2011 - PCSO Kay Shackleton attended Mallard Primary School which teh MUGA is part of. She delivered a presentation to years 5 and 6 highlighting the consequences of criminal damage and anti-social behaviour.
30.09.2011 - Whilst PCSO's were patrolling the area a man was seen in possesion of an open can of alcohol. Balby (along with much of Doncaster) is a Designated Public Place (DPPO). This makes it an offence to have an open can of alcohol in any public place. This legislation is used to help combat alcohol fuelled asb and crime. The male was asked to hand over his can of alcohol so it could be disposed of. He refused to do so and was therefore issued with a £50 fixed penalty ticket.

10.10.2011 - A meeting was held with the tree team at the location involving local PCSO's and area officers. It has been reported that youths are climbing a tree in the garden of an address. It was decided that it would cause far to much damage to the tree to remove the lower brnaches and so the problem with be dealt with by patrols form the local SNT.

Residents from Anelay Road reporting criminal damage taking place in the area, with kids hanging about on the streets at all hours, being abusive and causing harrassment, alarm and distress to residents.
21.09.2011 - Due to ongoing issues on Anelay Road, at this evenings PACT Meeting it was agreed that Anelay Road/St. Peters Road would become a PACT Priority. PCSO's are to remain in regular contact with residents of Anelay Road. A meeting is already arranged for next week between SYP, DMBC and Northern Counties to set about resolving the issues.
22.09.2011 Patrolled by South Yorkshire Police throughout shift. We responded to 2 reported incidents of youths congregating in the alleyway and smashing glass. On arrival no youths were seen and no smashed glass could be found.
23.09.2011 Patrolled throughout the day by both South Yorkshire Police and Area Officers from DMBC. There was one reported incident of a group of mixed males and females on skateboards. We attended and spoke to the group. They were advised about keeping noise down due to young families in the area.
25.09.2011 An incident was reported about youths gathering in the alleyway. This was attended by DMBC Neighbourhood Response Team which is made up of Council Officers and PCSO's. They patrol the whole of the Doncaster Borough and will attend Police incidents when the local Safer Neighbourhood Team is unavailable to do so.

28.09.2011 A multi-Agency meeting was held to establish a plan of action to resolve the issues on Anelay Road and St.Peters Road. Attendees included respresentatives from South Yorkshire Police, DMBC, Guiness Northern Counties and St.Leger Homes. These multi-agency meetings will be held regularly as Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNTs) are designed to work as a joint partnership. SNTs are made up of mutliple agencies who work closely to solve community and quality of life issues.
29.09.2011 Patrolled By South Yorkshire Police in response to an incident reporting youths smoking illegal drugs in the area. An extensive search was carried out but no youths were found and nothing incriminating could be smelled.
30.09.2011 A number of concerns were raised about noise in the area. 26.08.11 - Hexthorpe patrolled by PCSO's throughout their shift (1pm x 10pm), several residents spoken to whilst on patrol, no issues of note.

13.09.11 - Incident reported to the Police regarding neighbours in a road in Hexthorpe. One of the neighbours is being abusive to her neighbours children. The Neighbourhood Reponse Team dealt with the initial complaint which has been passed onto the local SNT for them to make further enquiries and offer advice.
15.09.11 - Mobile patrol conducted by the Neighbourhood Response Team after being called to the Springboard Centre in Hexthorpe. 3 youths spoken to regarding their behaviour and asked to move on from the area.

PRESS RELEASE - Officers uncover cannabis set up in Hexthorpe
Officers from the Urban Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) have uncovered a cannabis factory at a property on Spansyke Street, Hexthorpe.
A warrant was executed at the property after intelligence was received about drugs being used there. Officers recovered 168 plants with an approximate value of £160,000.
A woman aged 28 and a boy aged 16 were arrested and charged for cultivation of drugs. They appeared at Doncaster Magistrates Court on 22 September, where they were remanded in custody.

30/09/11 - A cannabis set up has been discovered and dismantled today in Hexthorpe. Officers also conducted high visibility patrols of the area between the hours of 6.45pm and 9.30pm.

06/10/11 - During high visibility patrols of the area today, officers have conducted a door knock of the local area to try and identify issues and prioblems that are faced by residents.
07/10/11 - PCSO Murray has today completed both foot and mobile patrols of Hexthorpe. These were carried out between 2pm - 5pm and again between the hours of 7.30pm - 8.30pm.
10/10/11 - Today foot patrols were completed of the Hexthorpe area in the morning between 09.30am-11am. A group of rowdy and noisy residents were spoken to about their behviour as they were arguing loudly on the street. Once the males were threatend with a fixed penalty notice of £80 they stopped the arguing and returned to their properties. Another patrol was also conducted between 2pm - 3pm.

13/10/11 - Today an address in the Hexthorpe area was issued with a noise abatement notice after a number of complaints had been received about them playing loud music. If further reports are received about the playing of loud music then Doncaster Council have the authority to sieze the equipment used.
21/10/11 - PC Robb has this evening conducted high visibility mobile patrols of the whole area of Hexthorpe. These patrols have included Shadyside and Ramsden Rd. This patrol was conducted between the hours of 8pm - 9.45pm.

03/11/2011 - An incident was reported today about a nuisance motorbike around the Hexthorpe area. Officers attended an address, no motorbike was found but a male was arrested as he was wanted for an unrelated offence.
04/11/2011 - Patrols were conducted around the Hexthorpe area today. a quantity of alcohol was also confiscated from a female. Hexthorpe has a designated public place order (DPPO) and so it is an offence to possess an open can of alcohol in a public place. If anyone is seen drinking alcohol in the streets this will be seized.

23/11/2011 - The Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled Hexthorpe during today. They attended an incident of nuisance motorbikes. They patrolled the area but did not locate any bikes. If you know where any off-road bikes are being kept then contact us on 101.
24/11/2011 - During patrols throughout Hexthorpe today the Neighbourhood Response Team noticed a number of objects which had been dumped. These were: a dumped TV on Ramsden Road, 6 Black bags filled with waste on Hexthorpe Road and a wooden pallett, broken sofa and Hifi on Abbott Street. Traffic is contravening the "No-Entry" sign into Ashfield Road and cutting through from Hall Flat Lane onto Tickhill Road. Traffic is also speeding and residents are concerned that this is going to cause an accident.

28.06.11 - A male was found pushing a black moped down Waverley Avenue, engine was cold - nothing to suggest that the moped has been used in ASB manner.
30.06.11 - At this evenings PACT meeting a resident of Woodfield Plantation reported that he has heard on several occasions nuisance bikes being driven around the estate in the early hours of the morning. Due to this and several other reports it was agreed that this would be kept on for a further month as a PACT priority.
An ADM 171 (warning) was issued today to a female who was seen riding a mini moto on the playing fields adjacent to Oswin Avenue.

09.07.11 - Day of Action today in the Balby/Hexthorpe area regarding nuisance motorbikes. Other SNT's were called in to assist with this along with the helicopter. Several addresses which were reported by the public to be keeping motor bikes were checked throughout the day/evening and all areas patrolled. All addresses checked proved negative.
13.07.11 - The SNT is currently working a split shift to combat criminal damage so all areas were patrolled between the hours of 1pm and 0400.
14.07.11 - The SNT worked from 1pm through to 4am and during this time all areas were patrolled.

01.05.11 - Criminal Damage to Vehicle recorded as Incident No 1093 01/05/2011 Wing Mirror smashed off car. Reassurance visit carried out. Crime as yet, not recorded as Mother of the offender has offered to pay for the damage by 15/05/2011.

At 10.30pm there was a report of rowdy/inconsiderate youths riding around on scooters on Shadyside. Complaint initially dealt with by ASB car team and reassurance visit carried out by PCSO's from the SNT.
13.05.11 - Criminal Damage to Dwelling. Window panel on front door damaged. Reassurance visit carried out by PCSO's to occupants of property and hi-vis patrols. Area patrolled by PC 1145 between the hours of 6.30pm and 10.15pm.
Reports of a smashed window at a property on Senior Street. Pc 1145 spoke to suspect who admitted throwing the stone that broke the window. The property is owned by the Council so Pc 1145 is to speak to the council in order to complete the matter by Restorative Justice after suitable community punishment decided. The suspect's mother is extremely pro police and supportive of our actions.

29.07.11 - Area patrolled throughout duty times. An incident was attended by SNT officers, male drinking on street near to Sandford Road. Alcohol was seized and one male advised and moved on.

Whilst patrolling the area in the early hours of the morning, a few people were stopped and searched to account for their activity.

12.09.11 - Area patrolled by SNT Officers throughout duty times. SNT Officers provided Letting Agents with summary of ASB incidents at two particular addresses for the pursuance of eviction proceedings against problem tenants.
13.09.11 - Carr Hill and surrounding area patrolled by SNT Officers throughout duty times 1pm x 10pm).
14.09.11 - Foot and mobile patrols carried out by PCSO's between 1pm and 10pm.
15.09.11 - Carr Hill patrolled by the Neighbourhood Response Team throughout the night.
19.09.11 - An Operation took place today in the Carr Hill area with staff working from 7am to 4am. Staff were deployed on cycle, foot and mobile covering the whole of Carr Hill. Throughout the day shift it was pretty quiet with few stops and no incidents reported. During the night there were a number of stop/searches in the early hours. There were no reports of criminal damage/ASB during these hours. Some intelligence reports were submitted regarding the people stopped throughout the night.
20.09.11 - Directed patrols carried out by PCSO's between 6.30pm and 9.30pm. Nothing seen between these times.
21.09.11 - At this evenings PACT meeting it was agreed that as Carr Hill was currently have a lot of input with the Operation and no particular incidents had been reported of late, this would be discharged as a PACT priority.
