Ask yourself these questions.
> Do you lock the door straight away when you return home from School, work or the shops?
> Do you bother locking up when you're outside in the garden?
> Do you lock doors or close windows when popping up stairs?
If the answer is no then you offer an open invitation to sneak thieves.
Over a third of all burglaries are commited when householders are either in or or have left doors or windows open or unlocked.
It takes seconds for a sneak thief to open an unlocked door and make off with keys, car keys, wallets, purse, mobile phones.
Locking the door could prevent hours on the phone cancelling Bank cards, Mobile phones , having house hold locks changed or even the car been stolen!.
You can prevent sneak in burglaries by.
> Lock your doors when outside, drop the latch or use a chain on the door when your in.
> Never leave windows open in unoccupied rooms.
> If you have a side or garden gate lock it.
> Dont leave valuables, keys, Purse, Wallet, Mobile phone, on display near windows or doors, keep them well out of sight.
REMEMBER-sneak burglars only need a few seconds-DON'T MAKE IT EASY FOR THEM
