A recent court case, was as a result of a call from a member of the public concerning a motorcycle being ridden off road around the Highfields lake area. Officers attended and resulted in a 20 minute containment as the 20 year motorcyclist rode around, through some fishermen and families walking on the pathways. The helicopter monitored the youths actions. After being arrested and interviewed he recently was sentenced at court where he received
an 8 week suspended sentence, Disqualified from driving until test passed, £80 costs and the motorcycle was forfeited and destroyed
