Rachael has been awarded the PCSO of the year award. This is in addition to the  "Partner, Individual and Organisations - Significant enhancement of children experiences award" in this years celebration of Success Awards which she won in April.Racheal was nominated for this by staff members at Mundella Primary School for the extensive work she has done with the young people there.

Over the past two years Rachael has spent one hour per week supporting  Miss Dorothy.com, a learning programme to support young peoples personal behaviour and promote safety.  Rachael has become further involved with a Junior Road Safety group within the school and has arranged for colleagues to come to the school and show the children how to use a portable speed gun.

Concerns were raised by the local Tenants and Residents Association and Neighbourhood Watch Group residents regarding littering around Newfield School.  Rachael  worked with the Mundella Primary school and Sheffield Council Neighbourhood wardens to organise a litter pick for the young children, so they can  learn to take responsibility for their local community.

Rachael has acted a positive role model to the young children at Mundella Primary School and worked hard over the last two years to engage with the young children.

Congratulations go to Rachael and thanks for making a difference in the local community.

In addition Rachael will now go forward to the national awards ceremony in London later in the year. Exceptionally well done
