Doncaster Urban Safer Neighbourhood Area provides a service to 57,000 people in 25,000 households. It is the most densely populated area of Doncaster and accounts for 33% of Doncaster's policing activity.
The area consists of four Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNTs).Each team consists of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) and Doncaster Council Community Safety Wardens (CSWs). They work together in the same building.
The Urban SNTs provide communities with a dedicated team of staff who are visible, accessible and known to local people. They work closely with partner agencies (statutory and voluntary) and the local community to tackle the crime and disorder concerns and issues identified within the neighbourhood.

Inspector Jakki HARDY manages Police staff on Urban team including Centrel - Town / Hyde Park, Balby / Hexthorpe, Wheatley Intake Jakki had previously worked in the Town Centre for several years as an SNT Sergeant.
